Debating whether being central is really worth all that chaos?  Well, here at Ivy Lettings we’ve made it our mission to discover those special spaces of secluded peace right in the heart of the action.

Living & Eating
Let us introduce you to our hidden gem just moments from vibrant High Street Kensington. An immaculate, open-plan apartment sits high on the 4th floor (don’t worry, you won’t have to walk up all the stairs, there’s a lift - unless you want to of course!), which offers all the amenities you could desire with a fully furnished kitchen to boot. Open the doors and breathe in the scent of the freshly laundered linen as you familiarize yourself with your new home.  The dining room table comfortably seats four people, making this apartment ideal for a family. Though this unique hideaway would also be perfect for a couple.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Step inside and find one main bedroom, beautifully furnished with a 4'6 ft bed and generous storage space (handy perhaps for all those shopping bags?). The bright, open-plan living space can easily accommodate up to three extra guests with a small sofa bed and an additional camp bed.  The family bathroom provides a bath and a built-in shower.

Access & Suitability
The apartment is on the 5th floor and there is access by elevator. It is ideal for families on a budget.

When you’re ready to venture out, London’s top attractions are just a few minutes away —Wholefoods, the UKs first organic Superstore, shops galore and a variety of stunning parks - our favorite is Kensington Roof Gardens that grows at one hundred feet in the air! Don’t forget to say hello to the resident Flamingos-Bill, Ben, Splosh and Pecks!

There are a multitude of grocery stores, ATMs, coffee shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Don’t forget you are a 5-minute walk from Kensington High Street tube station, which offers quick links to the rest of the city. You really will be living like a local!

Kensington - Local area

Kensington local area image Kensington is frequently associated with the city’s best dressed and well-heeled. As such, it is no surprise that it is notable in particular for its main commercial artery, Kensington High Street, home of the Whole Foods Market flagship store and a vast selection of affordable brand names. Moving westwards takes you to Shepherd’s Bush, home of the behemoth Westfield shopping centre, the largest urban mall in Europe. Alighting at the South Kensington tube stop, you begin to understand the area’s reputation as the city’s heart of high-brow culture. Right next to the station you will find a tightly knit (and well signposted) corridor of museums and galleries, all of which date from the 1851 Great Exhibition, whose profits Prince Albert used to regenerate the area. This includes the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums, as well as the Royal Albert Hall. The beauty of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park adds weight to London's title of most verdant city of its size in the world.

The people from Ivy Lettings were great, they were very helpful and quickly answered all our questions. The apartment was great, very well equipped, spacious, and very confortable. It is in a nice and calm neighbourhood, near a beautiful park. There are stores to buy anything you may need close to the apartment. There are metro and bus stops close to it, and you can get to the centre in about 20 minutes. Overall, a great apartment and a great service from people in Ivy Lettings, and we will recommend it.

Absolutely loved staying at this apartment! perfect way to see london, and very good value, esp. considering what it would cost at a hotel (we had to stay at one for one night before our stay and it was really ludicrous). As for the apartment, it was very light and airy. Lovely memories! Would definitely stay here again and with the ivy lettings team!

First of all, the staff at Ivy Lettings was always quick to respond to any inquiry and very keen to help. Because we arrived on a weekend, key retrieval had to be arranged via lockbox, and they were very careful and helpful to ensure that everything went without a hitch. The price was wholly reasonable for a small one-bedroom apartment with a newly redone kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom was rather big. The kitchen was smallish, but it had a washer/dryer which was invaluable given that we were traveling with kids, and helped us to minimize what we needed to pack. The flat is on the top floor, accessible via lift. The building is quiet, and the bedroom faces the back of the building - the kids were on the hideaway sofa bed - but they didn't complain. After a full day of sightseeing, we were exhausted each night. The flat is convenient to several major bus lines to central London and Notting Hill Gate, and is an easy walk to the Earl's Court and Kensington High Street tube lines. The neighborhood is very residential, so you can stock up your fridge with goodies from the immediate vicinity. I would definitely do this again, especially with the kids. It was like being a local and we loved it.

Central to everything. Very courteous and efficient staff attended to all we asked. The apartment is superbly placed close to underground, supermarkets, restaurants and the shopping of Ken High st. Apartment fresh, heated, well equipped (over supplied with crockery and cutlery) galley kitchen and excellent bathroom. We enjoyed returning to our London pad each night and found it excellent value.

Although the photos i used to help me booked this apartment looked slightly different, the apartment itself was very homily. Ivy Lettings provided us with starter essentials in the bathroom and kitchen to help us settle in. The bathroom and kitchen were very modern and upto date in design; very hotel like feel. The location was 5 minute walk from High Street Kensington tube and there is a friendly cafe next door if you dont feel like making your own breakfast that is affordable. Esstenial shops are near-by including a waitrose, bustop and post office. Wi-Fi included as well made planning and keeping intouch wit hthe family much easier. Looking to book this place again if its available on my next return trip to London. Thank you Ivy Lettings.
