My sister and I stayed here last month. The flat is very spacious. It was great to have 2 beds and bathrooms. The location is great. The St James tube station is literally just a few steps away and Westminster Abbey, Parliament and the Churchill War Rooms are a nice, easy walk. When I say an easy walk, I mean it. The area is primarily businesses, so it's very quiet at night and on weekends. We liked the quiet. The only time we heard noise was smokers in the adjacent offices that would be outside talking while they smoked. This never occurred at night. Also, the Ivy Lettings folks were very responsive. Our contact was on site to meet us at the prearranged time. She also responded very quickly to our emails and phone calls and we had quite a few! We had very little experience with UK appliances, electricity, heating etc. Don't get me wrong, i believe our contact tried to explain everything to us when we first arrived, but we were so excited to be there, excited that the place actually was what it appeared to be (we booked based solely on what we read in Trip Advisor and had never stayed anywhere other than hotels) so we may not have paid attention or asked question in detail! Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to book this flat or another property with Ivy Lettings.

It's very well situated for shops and transport. 2 minutes away is an excellent Costcutters and a ten minute walk will get you to a large Tescos. All kinds of transport - underground, overland and buses - are available nearby. We loved the flat which is very light, well furnished and comfortable. Everything works well and we had all that we needed to make our stay extremely enjoyable.

Stayed here recently with my mother for six days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Ennismore Gardens flat is not only clean, quaint, and affordable, but is also located in an excellent area. It's within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, cafes, museums, and shopping. The South Kensington Station was nearby, too. It was an excellent stay, made even better by the helpful team at Ivy Lettings. Would recommend to any and everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely and cosy flat situated on a picturesque garden square in Knightsbridge. The flat is decorated to a high standard and is extremely charming and comfortable. The location is ideal for the amenities of Knightsbridge and South Kensington, with Hyde Park and Royal albert Hall only moments away.

Great Broadband connection. Very cofortable & well furnished. Only down side 2nd bathroom shower not working. Travelling group: Spouse / significant other Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend? Absolutely!

Comfortable accommodations, bright, reasonably well furnished. Tv room with pullout bed was great for our grandson. Missed having a microwave, but kitchen otherwise adequately furnished. Convenient, quiet neighborhood - near shops, pubs, 10 minute walk to tube.

The Conklins

The apartment is amazing, glamourous, clean and very comfortable, fulfilling all our expectations. Located perfectly in a very cool area, stimulating and very safe, with little traffic, nice shopping. It really worth for us to spend few days in this amazing place.

situated in a silent and charming street in kensington/notting hill, this flat has been our perfect retreat throughout our whole stay. High class interiors, conveniently located close to tube and bus stations, a treasurable memory of our trip to london.

We stayed in Campana Road as a family of 5. London was the first stop of a 4 week trip and this home proved to be a perfect base to explore and a wonderful home to come back to at the end of the day. Beautifully furnished, well maintained, spacious yet quiet, the house sits between two well serviced tube stations and within a short walk to supermarkets, shops, restaurants. Very close to park/common. Charming rear courtyard garden.

This studio was perfect for our Christmas stay in London. It is only a couple blocks from the Tube station. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Within walking distance of Hyde Park. The studio is spacious and the sofa sleeper (hide-a-bed) was truly as comfortable as a bed! Ivy Lettings was fabulous to deal with. They promptly answered all our questions and where very flexible with our arrival time (we were held up at the airport for two hours due to an immigration worker's slow down). We will definitely contact Ivy Lettings for our next trip to London. The price was a bit high, but we were paying for a very central location.

It was accurately described. It is surprisingly spacious, down a quiet little street with no traffic.Best of all its only a short walk to Princess Diana's Kensington Palace!! I hope we will visit again

We had a wonderful time in this studio. It's actually more spacious that it looks from the photos. It has a very high ceiling and is airy, bright, and comfortable. All the facilities - kitchen, bathroom, bed - are in excellent condition. It's also extremely quiet and private despite being in s very central location. It's a perfect base: walking distance to great shopping and eating on Kensington High Street, Notting Hill, Portobello, Queensway, and the West End. And very close to Holland Park and Hyde Park. Subways and buses are very close by and there's even a stand for bike rentals at the end of the street. You can feel like a Londoner here! We had a great time and recommend it highly.

A beautiful home with an exceptionally friendly atmosphere. We loved it!

This is a beautiful house in a fantastic and safe part of London. There are great shops and restaurants nearby and access further into the city couldn't be easier with multiple bus services and the underground station practically at the end of the road. The kids really loved the house too. It's got a really cosy feel to it and has been beautifully decorated - clearly the product of a loving owner. We hosted two dinner parties and the kitchen was brilliantly equipped. I'd recommend this house to anyone, we will definitely be going back next year.

The location and layout of the accommodation more than suited our needs. The accommodation was clean and provided an ideal setting for our needs. What we liked best was the location of the accommodation and the service provided by your organisation, especially from Madeleine. What we liked least was leaving the accommodation and London.

The Semmlers

This is now number one on our list of places to stay in London. Great location, bright and comfortable with good ventilation. Everything is furnished and works. We liked the check in with someone greeting us at the door, especially in the rain, and showing us around the apartment. The Windsor Castle Pub is just around the corner and the Churchill arms is nearby as are other pubs hidden in the side streets. A very enjoyable stay.

I traveled to London with my family - my sister and me, and my parents. We had been trying to find a place that would accomodate our adult family, allowing us to have some home comforts, while exploring the city and experiencing the Olympics. Bramber Rd. ended up being a perfect fit for us. With a camp bed, and pull out sofa, there was easily enough sleeping space for us all. Monica (the owner) was wonderful, welcoming us with lots of neighbourhood advice - from grocery stores to dinner to transportation. It was bound to be a good trip with the Olympics, but it was so nice to have a great place to come back to each night. And the little back patio space was a nice addition for a cup of tea. I would say that if you have any mobility issues, probably not the best place - steep stairs to the door, a very high bathtub and not particularly accessible transportation (not far, just stairs).

Ali H Ottawa, Canada

We were blessed to stay at a lovely ground level apartment on a rarely traveled Bramber road, off a main thoroughfare (North End Road. The apartment was nicely supplied with all the amenities and its location was near two main bus lines and about 10 minute walk to three Tube stations. Monica, the owner, was a delight and willing to help with any questions or problems. The rental agency, Ivy Lettings, was efficient and concise. Would stay there again if we go back to London. (Note, because of the rather steep stairs (five) to get from street level to the apartment entrance, this would not be for someone handicapped or who had mobility issues. Otherwise, a great place to enjoy London!)

Bob and Donna

An enjoyable stay. Thanks to Guy and the team at Ivy Lettings, the booking was easy. Monica the owner was charming and helpful, and easy to contact at the adjacent property. The property was as advertised and was comfortable and homely with all the facilities we required. The garden is a real asset. I wouldn't recommend the property to anyone with mobility problems, as the stairs down to the front door are quite steep. Arriving by Tube with your luggage is not an option - it's located equidistant between three Tube stations, but a brisk 10 minute walk from each. Fortunately Ivy Lettings organised transport from the airport direct to the property and I recommend this arrangement. In summary, next time we're in London, this is where we'll stay.

This basement flat on Bramber Road worked out beautifully for my sons, their friend, and myself. It was only a bit tight for four people, but since we were generally out seeing the sights, it really met our needs very well. Monica, the owner went out of her way to see that we had everything we needed. The flat was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. This flat is located within easy walking distance of tube stops on two difference lines which helped.

Paul

We rented this flat for the proximity to Chelsea stadium (approx 15 minute walk) We were very happy with the flat and amenities. The owner of the flat lives in the home on the next block resulting in common garden behind the two of flats which we enjoy for using every day. The owner was very helpful with suggestions.

We needed a place to stay at while and after my husband had an operation in Charing Cross Hospital. The location was optimal, 10 min to several tube stations, the hospital and everything else we needed. The flat has a lovely garden to use and offered everything we needed. The landlady was very helpful and lovely. So were amelia and the rest of the crew from Ivy Lettings. Very happy! Thank you!

Chesson Rd was a joy to come home to. Monica is lovely and could not be more helpful. The location was great, close to 2 tube stations and local buses. Monica told us about the local markets for fruit and vegetables every Saturday, which I would recommend to anyone staying for a week or more. We especially loved the courtyard garden - only wished we could have spent more time enjoying it. There are plenty of pubs close by where the food was good and good value.

We are a group of asian travelled down from Scotland after a 6 days trip there. We had a wonderful stay in chesson road. The most wonderful thing is the back garden of this apartment actually connected to the back garden of another apartment at Bramber road. Both apartments belong to the same lovely landlady Monica. So it is a good choice for a family or group of 4-5 friends staying in these two apartments. The location is not that near to tube station but takes around 7-10 minutes walk. still acceptable. We took the easyjet bus from gatwick airport to the last stop and walked another 5 minutes to reach the apartment. The landlady Monica is very nice. She has a very lovely garden with lots of flowers. We always had our breakfast in the garden. The only thing we are a bit disappointed is there is only a microwave in this apartment. But we can cook at the apartment of Bramber road. We really enjoyed our staying there.

We approached this booking with some trepidation as we made all of the arrangements over the internet from australia. Alexa from Ivy Lettings was wonderful and was very prompt to deal with all of my emails / questions. She also arranged for a pickup from Heathrow which was really great and delivered us to the door of Chesson Road. The apartment is as lovely as the photos indicate, in a classic tree lined street of terrace houses. The lounge/living area is very comfortable and has a kitchenette area. The kitchen facilities are limited in space but was adequate for the odd meal we prepared there. The bedroom was beautiful with the added bonus of the french doors out to the courtyard area which was a wonderful area to relax after a big day exploring. The bed was very comfortable (another reviewer suggested otherwise). The bathroom is not shown in the photos but is very nice. The 3 nearby train stations, as well as buses, make it easy to get around. There are several pubs nearby that serve good food, well priced, with great atmosphere. Some good basic restaurants are nearby, as well as food stores if you want to cater yourself. Monica is the owner who lives in the house above was an absolute delight. She went above and beyond our expectations in sorting out a few things for us and to make sure we were comfortable. We felt like family, and even shared her lovely dog Bella. It was a very memorable stay.

This was by far one of the best renting experiences we have had. We have spent a total of 80 days in Europe, over two 40 day vacations, and have stayed in vacation rentals instead of Hotels. We have never had a particularly bad experience anywhere, but nothing rivals this little gem. It was a privilege to stay at 81 Chesson road where all our dreams of London came true. Monica ( the owner) has to be the sweetest woman we have ever met! I accidentally left my ring there ( we live in San Francisco) I contacted Ivy lettings, and they contacted her, and she found it and sent it to me! Guy, our reservationist, was the best very thorough and very timely with his response to emails. The apartment was very clean. And trust me when I say, that I am nuts about the places I stay being clean. For some reason everywhere I stay, I feel like their standard of clean in not the same as mine. I started to wonder if maybe it was a European thing, and then I came here and realized the others were just lazy :$ and they didn't tend to ( or care about) their property as much as Monica. The beds were comfortable and its much more spacious than it seems in the photos. I also wanted to compliment the woman who let us into the apartment as Monica was away at the time that we arrived. I can't remember her name at the moment ( I think it was Mimi?) but she was adorable and such a love! I can't wait to go back to visit my new friends at the Chesson Road apartment. I just hope now that I have shared my lovely experience that it won't be booked when I try to stay there again. See you in a year or so Miss Monica!

This comfortable and delightfully appointed studio is ideal for a couple. A small child's alcove bed is provided. While not in central London, the city transport system is within an easy short walk. Owner assistance is generously offered if needed. Cooking facilities include a double electric hot plate, microwave, under counter Frige, sink and required utensils and the use of a beautiful small English garden in the south facing rear of the house, are also included.

Everything was so smooth and easy. The flat was perfect for what I needed. The bedrooms are all sized in a great way and the fact that there are three bathrooms makes it so easy for all the guests staying in the flat. The living space is just right and I really liked how everything was furnished and put in place. Great locaton very easy to get to and has access to two tube stations. Opposite from a great pub too.

This property is perfect in every way. It is beautifully decorated and conveniently located in the heart of the fun and buzzing Notting Hill and Holland Park. Very near fantastic restaurants, fabulous shops and also a short walk from Portobello Road - there is so much on the doorstep to see and do. The apartment is warm, light, peaceful and extremely comfortable. It is also near good transport links (tubes/buses) if you want to venture to other parts of London. The chance to stay here is an opportunity not to be missed. I guarantee you will love it - we certainly did and can't wait to come back soon.

This flat is in a large block which looks imposing from the outside, but it is easily accessible - 1st floor - and once inside it had everything we needed. Space is not large but while compact the open-plan kitchen lounge gives it a roomy feel. The bedrooms all work well and there were 6 of us with the children. The area is excellent with portobello road and notting hill very close by and lots of good restaurants, especially E&O; for eastern fusion food. It was very quiet for London and also very clean.

In June 2012, my family of four (including two teenagers) enjoyed staying in this comfortable home, located in a perfect location right in the middle of South Kensington...easy walking distance to the tube, grocery stores, and lots of good restaurants. We stayed for two weeks in this lovely home, with two nice bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen with washing machine. It was a perfect home base for our family to enjoy a vacation in London.

We have just returned from a 2 weeks stay in this wonderful apt in Kensington. We choose this place for the location and it was perfect: close to the tube and walking area was also nice with lots of amusements. It is a classic style apt, not really big, but 4 adults +1 child were quite comfortable. The apt was super clean, beds very nice and comfy. Like most tourists we were there to experience the city and could not have chosen a better location. Within walking distance we found food store opened 24 hours. The other huge plus was the service we received from Kate (Ivy Lettings) We so appreciated her prompt nswer of each email question as well as helping set up transportation to and from the airport. Definitely come back and will recommend friends!

The place is on the smaller side in terms of size of the kitchen and bedrooms but worked great in terms of the location and proximity tot he tube, supermarkets etc. Stayed there with our 2 year old and it as a great option for him as it gave him plenty of room to run around in side the place. The place is on a small alley way and there are other places right across so privacy is a little issue. The kitchen was functional with all the things needed. Would recommend it for small families as the second bedroom is really small. Ivy letting was great to work with.

Cornwall Mews south is a charming apartment in a delightful little mews in Kensington. It is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. It has all modern conveniences, including a washer/dryer and great shower. The neighbourhood is quiet and the neighbours friendly. Gloucester Road underground station is a short walk, and there are many useful shops, including supermarkets, and restaurants/cafes, on Gloucester and Cromwell roads, all within easy distance. We had a wonderful time, making use of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare the gourmet delights we bought during the day. Relaxing on the comfortable couches after a hard day's sightseeing was a little luxury. Alexa from Ivy Lettings did an amazing job of co-ordinating our booking process, and greeted us in person on arrival. Even when our plans changed slightly, they were accommodated. We have no hesitation in recommending Ivy Lettings for great service and lovely properties.

This flat was perfect for our family of 4 adults - great for preparing a quick breakfast in the morning and relaxing in after hours out exploring. The neighborhood was convenient, safe, and attractive. I enjoyed my early morning walks, especially seeing all the children walking to school. The owners left recommendations for nearby restaurants and amenities, which was very helpful We had a great dinner at Med Kitchen! The Tube and shops were just around the corner, but the flat was in a quiet side street. I had thoroughly researched possible locations to stay, and amelia from Ivy Lettings worked with me via email to secure the flat at Cornwall Mews. The agency was very accommodating about our weekend check-in and a late checkout on departure. We would certainly use Ivy Lettings again for future travel.

The location was fabulous...easy to walk to park, shops, restaurants, grocery store, and tube to all locations. Flat was very comfortable and quiet, despite being close to hustle and bustle locations! Staff at Ivy Lettings were very helpful and responsive...a few minor problems were addressed immediately. Beds were a teensy bit hard, but overall flat was extremely comfortable. Will definitely look to stay here (or in another Ivy Lettings flat) on our next trip.

For a combination work trip/vacation we were hoping to find a 2-bedroom flat in a quiet mews in South Kensington. This flat was perfect for us. It was spacious, comfortable (great beds) and very well-equipped with all appliances in excellent working order. The oven and washing machine were especially appreciated. Great location, an easy walk from the Gloucester Road tube as well as Kensington High Street, Hyde Park, the V&A;, and much else. Kate was a joy to work with, prompt, efficient, and always professional when dealing with our many questions, credit card problems, and anything else that came up. A great flat, a great company.

Kate Ross of Ivy Lettings was very helpful and most accommodating to us. Cornwall Mews South has a fantastic location as it was 3-5 minutes away from the Gloucester Road Tube Station and other amenities such as restaurants, 24 hr Tesco Supermarket , bus stops and mid way between High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge. The apartment comes fully stocked with plates, pots and necessary everyday utensils. It was just a great place to be at.

This flat was only a few minutes walk to Embankment underground station so had excellent access to all of London. It was within easy walking distance to the National Gallery, St. Martin's in the Fields and the theaters on St. Martin's Lane. The bathroom had an excellent large shower stall with adjustable shower head. The kitchen appliances were up to date and worked well. But: The bedroom was very small and a person using the second twin bed would need to crawl over the first twin bed to get to it. I slept in the bed nearest the window and found it very uncomfortable because the mattress was completely broken down with springs easily felt on the surface. In addition, it was necessary to sleep in the center of the bed because if you rolled too much to one side there was considerable risk of rolling right off the bed because the edges of the mattress were completely deteriorated and offered no support. Only 2 towels were provided for 1 person. One was a small hand towel and the other a slightly larger towel. I would expect at least one large bath towel per person (preferable 2) plus a hand towel. I would recommend this flat only if I was assured that the mattresses in the bedroom had been replaced.

DSF1 Alberta

The location could not have been better - less than a block to the tube (Embankment) to Trafalgar Square, to the Strand where there are all kinds of busses. Oyster Pass was a great saving. Restaurants on Villiers St. ,parrallel to Craven have great restaurants reasonable priced with an ambience simialr to Paris. A real find in London. The flat was OK. well fitted kitchen, bathroom but the bedroom left much to be desired. Twins but my grand-daughter preferred the couch in the living room. Furniture and flat were dated but we enjoyed that part.

We felt at home the minute we arrived with great booking in service from the staff, lots of information provided, great apartment with good quality fittings and appliances. We were so central to parks, Harrods, transport and museums. We met the owner who was very friendly even leaving notes to say welcome home after a day trip away. We would defintely use this apartment again and would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to London. Thank you for making our first trip to London memorable and affordable.

Just returned from a 6-night stay at Ennismore Gardens Mews apartment. Our experience with Ivy Lettings was top-rate from start to finish. Kate & Georgina were service-oriented with an eye towards making our stay perfect! We will use Ivy Lettings for future rentals and will recommend them to family & friends. The Ennismore Gardens Mews apartment is as pictured. Living room/sitting area is nicely furnished with a high-definition TV and high-speed WiFi worked well. The bedroom has a newer bed with fresh and comfy linens, a double window (no a/c), large closet and a TV. The bed was a bit softer than we like, but most will find it very comfortable. The large, modern bathroom is well outfitted with hot water always available, water pressure was perfect. The kitchen is very compact but well-equipped. All appliances worked well, ample glassware & dishes. A freezer and proper stove with an oven would make it ideal, but we had no problems making breakfasts or reheating leftovers. The flat is up a straight 16 or so stairs, separated from the owner's flat downstairs by a simple pair of French doors with a brass latch (not a lock); this was not a problem as you enter through a shared vestibule and the owner was so unobtrusive we never saw or heard him; we only hope we didn't disturb him with our evening comings & goings. Finally, the best part of this flat was its proximity to ALL that London offers. It's a 10-minute walk to South Kensington tube station on the Piccadilly Line from there you can get to central London tourist attractions in 15 minutes or less. Also nearby are Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner and Gloucester stations. We bought an Oyster Card our first day and traveled with ease both day and night on London's tube. We wish the DC Metro was half as efficient! The area around the apartment is lovely, walkable, and near the Brompton Road quarter with a large selection of restaurants and shops. The Sainsbury Local is just down Brompton for quick grocery pick-ups and several 24/7 shops offer sodas, newspapers, stamps and the like. The Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History, and Royal Albert Hall are literally around the corner from the flat. So convenient to see these fantastic, FREE museums. I spent several days just touring around the flat with no need for public transport. The neighborhood seemed very quiet and safe for walking with great lighting and beautiful, multi-million dollar homes on Ennismore & Princes Garden streets (and a variety of Bentley's, Rolls, Ferraris, a Maserati and luxury cars we don't usually see parked on the street in Potomac, Maryland!) Overall, we loved the flat, would give a 4.5 stars with our only faults the absence of a freezer (we do like our icy cold beverages) and the fact that only 1 set of bath linens per person was provided for our 6-night stay. Otherwise, we don't think you'll find a cozier or more convenient location for a London holiday. Thanks again to Kate, Georgie, and Ivy Lettings for making our stay in London WONDERFUL!

The flat was great. Very comfortable living room. Large sofa we could all spread out on. Kitchen was large enough to cook nice meals and large refrigerator to store everything. Easy walking to all of the major tube lines. We could go anywhere in London easily and back to Heathrow. If you stayed in the winter it might get a little cold, but spring and summer were great. Service was friendly and helpful. Big beds, lots of room.

We spent 10 days at Perham Road, located in West Kensington. The flat is a short walk to the amenities of North End Road (incuding two supermarkets) and tube and bus connections. The location is super central though the area is a little run down. Despite this we really like the urban feel and loved being so close to everything with direct connections to Notting Hill, Knightsbridge and Sloane Square. The flat itself is on the first and second floors. One is greeted by the well equipped kitchen and really good oven before proceeding up a few stairs to the dining room and separate sitting room and then on up again to the two bedrooms. The flat is beautifully decorated with lots of the owners art. It is bright and comfortable and everything is in superb working order from the hot water and heating to the WIFI and cable TV. There isn't alot to do in the immediate vicinity however a short bus or tube ride will get you quickly to a wide variety of options like shopping in High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge, museum hopping in South Kensington or walking in Hyde or Holland Park. Cons - the area is a bit dodgy and the planes fly over head regularly so NOT a good choice if you are a light sleeper Pros - funky, cool flat with everything one could want and more and super efficient, friendly and professional lettings agents to boot! Highly recommended.

The reservation process through Ivy Lettings (Kate Ross) was very easy and responsive. We were met at the door by amelia, who introduced us to the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment looked exactly as it had in the photos on their web-site, though we didn't know that it was spread over four levels (with plenty of stairs). Access to London through the underground was very convenient, and we felt safe walking the streets at any hour. The neighborhood grocery store was very close, had fresh produce, and all we needed. The apartment was comfortable for four adults and welcoming to come back to after a full day of sight-seeing. Our experience with Ivy Lettings was wonderful, and we will definitely use them again for our next visit to London.

Beautiful property, only 3 years old in a private gated courtyard. Tesco supermarket across the street adds to the convenience and only a 10 minute walk to Fulham Broadway tube. Bus stop directly across the street if you chose not to walk. Very quite location, except when Heathrow flight path is close but stops by 11pm each night. Very roomy, very clean and accommodated the 4 of us with ease. Alexa was very helpful with booking and providing clear instructions for obtaining key and gate codes for entry. We will definitely be using Ivy Lettings for our next London vacation

Before we made our booking we spoke to an agent from Ivy Lettings and she assured us that the property was in a quiet, residential location. When we arrived we were shocked by the planes that flew overhead every 30 seconds. We had to sleep with earplugs in to get any sleep. The planes started at 5:45am and didn't cease until very late. When we complained to the agent about the noise, she told us that every house in London was affected by similar plane noise. This statement is obviously wrong as this particular house is directly under the flight path. The place did not have an iron or ironing board, adequate cups and looked like it had been stripped bare of supplies. I would not recommend this property to young families, elderly or disabled as it is over 3 floors with a total of 30 stairs inside.

We just spent 10 days in London staying at the Salibury Mews property managed by Ivy Lettings and had a fabulous stay. The unit was immaculate, centrally located, convenient to grocery stores, the tub, pubs, etc and very safe. We were a family of four with two kids (12 and 8) and the layout was ideal for us. There were two bedrooms on the top floor and one on the middle. Each bedroom had a full bathroom and shower with a fourth 1/2 bathroom on the ground floor (where the very nice kitchen was located). It couldn't have worked out better for us. The second bedroom that my 8 year old daughter stayed in was even painted pink with kid art on the walls. It was so ideal that she was convinced that it was specially decorated for her. The price was very reasonable for the location, amenities and time of year and Ivy Lettings was a first class organization to deal with. They always responded promptly to emails and arranged us with transportation to and from the property. Perfect all the way around!

My husband and I spent a week in this gorgeous home. It's located in the Brook Green suburb of London, in a residential neighborhood just up the street from a nursery school. We couldn't have been happier with the house itself. It was bright, welcoming, clean, spacious and well designed. It was perfect for the two of us, but with it's guest bedroom and guest bathroom it could easily accommodate an additional guest, couple or children. Quick Note: The owners have left an outdoor table and two chairs which make having a cup of coffe or tea on the gorgeous back patio (on a nice day of course!) truly a delight. Shepherd's Bush and the Hammersmith tube stations are both about a 10-15 minute walk away which making getting into London proper and the West End for sightseeing, theatre and dinners very simple. The neighborhood itself was so nice as from the front door looking to the right you can see the famous Havelock Tavern which serves delicious meals all day round. To the left, you can see Old Pars Head a very tasty Tavern which serves some of the best Thai food ever! It's a bit of a strange combination (beer and Thai food, haha) but it is really quite perfect. We also tried The Jameson (also around the bend) and we loved meeting the owners and talking with the lively and welcoming locals. Cost Cutters is right across from The Jameson and served as a great spot to pick up the basics (bread, milk, cereal, etc). All in all, we truly enjoyed being the only non-locals and felt as if we had a chance to blend with the locals and get a real feeling as to what it may be like to live in this lovely city. We look forward to staying here again in the future! P.S. For some reason I am unable to upload photos, but you can see all of our photos of the flat on our European Vacation blog: www.mnreurope2012.blogspot.com

50 Masbro Road is a super house to rent. It is a traditional terraced house with a modern finish. It is spacious downstairs with a big kitchen linked with a large sitting room. The kitchen leads out into a super, easy to maintain patio garden which is great in the summer, and it is remarkably quiet, considering the number of houses in the street. Upstairs is light, airy and spacious with a lovely bathroom off the main bedroom and a very good shower room next to the guest room. The house is ideally located for quick access to central London on the Tube and good access to roads exiting London. It is a ten minute walk from the super shopping at Westfields on Shepherd's Bush too.

This attractive house with a great kitchen is uncluttered but inviting - in the best part of Brooke Green. A comfortable bed and really nice bathroom. A fun area with good pubs and great general atmosphere. Definitely a place to be.

Booked the apartment through alexa (Ivy Lettings) who was very responsive. Amelia met us at the apartment for check in and gave us a tour and answered our questions. Although the apartment is very quiet at night because the area is a corporate area, it is very loud in the mornings. We were also asked several times to restrict any noise due to the neighbors who had unusual schedules. For example, you had close the doors quietly (signs in the apartment to remind you) and keep the tv volume down and talk very low. This was inconvenient at night when we just wanted to relax from being out during the day. Given the noise restrictions, I would not suggest this place for families with young children. We were also disappointed that they had to perform maintenance on the weekend which was only supposed to take 10 minutes but started early in the morning with loud drilling and finished in the afternoon (we left and came back at 4 to rest and they were finishing up). One of the neighbors stayed with the maintenance workers while in the apartment. In terms of location, the apartment is steps away from the St. James Park tube station and a 10 min walk from the Victoria and Westminster tube stations. We took the tube a lot to get around so it was great to be close to the tube stations. The apartment was very clean, roomy and bright. Liked how there were 2 bathrooms - only one had a tub/shower. The dryer does not work very well so we had to use the drying racks, but the washer was fine. The only other issue we had was around security. There is no intrusion bolt to use while inside the apartment (like the intrusion bolt in most hotels in addition to the dead bolt and lock). We just kept our valuables with us when we went out or in the room where we slept. This was only an issue because we found out that multiple people had keys - including neighbors (since they came in freely while we were gone during the maintenance on Saturday).

My sister and I stayed here last month. The flat is very spacious. It was great to have 2 beds and bathrooms. The location is great. The St James tube station is literally just a few steps away and Westiminster Abbey, Parliament and the Churchill War Rooms are a nice, easy walk. We had very little experiience with UK appliances, electricity, heating etc. Don't get me wrong, i believe our contact tried to explain everything to us when we first arrived, but we were so excited to be there, excited that the place actually was what it appreared to be (we booked based soley on what we read in Trip Advisor and had never stayed anywhere other than hotels) so we may not have paid attention or asked question in detail! Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to book this flat or another property with Ivy Lettings.

I stayed in this apartment with my husband on our honeymoon. It was absolutely wonderful! the apartment is beautifully decorated & clean and the location is amazing! we walked almost everywhere. the service of the letting company (ivy) was perfect, they were very helpful and answered all our questions. we had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!

This is a great flat in a stunning location next to a tube station, near all the major sights. The flat itself is spacious and in a very quiet and safe location.

This was our eighth trip to London but our first time renting a flat. We could not have asked for a better location for ease of access nor quiet surroundings. Kate and Alexa were both fantastic representatives of their company and a joy to work with in the booking and check-in process. We plan to return to Carteret Street again for our next trip. Westminister Abbey was no more than 5 minutes away. Very close to St James tube station. Thanks!

LoveStonehenge

My family and I spent a week in London in early January' 2011. We stayed at Carteret Street which is in walking distance to Westminister abbey, Buckingham Palace, Parliment, etc. We did a lot in the week we were there. We went to a show, saw a soccer match (Chelsea), went to some museums, took the train to Paris for a day. So we did a lot. The flat was clean, had a working kitchen, enough room for 4 adults. The value was very good. The only bad part was the location of the flat was in it seemed the financial/business district which meant no one was on the sidewalks after 7pm so we felt we had to be careful if we were out late. Ivy Lettings were great. Kate and alexa answered our emails and helped us when we had any questions when were in London. Guy was on paternity leave the week we were there so we didn't get a chance to meet him. Ivy Lettings was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely use them again as well as refer them to associates.

We stayed here for a week. It is really one bedroom with a spare with a very comfortable lounge. The TV however is in the spare room so that was slightly inconvenient as we put our daughter to bed and could not use the TV but the little balcony more than made up from it. some signs of wear and tear and also messy cupboards and drawers with what I can only imagine is piles of owners items. Lots of stairs but all in all good stay.

This is a very comfortable flat in a great location in Fulham. Just minutes away from excellent dining and shopping, and convenient to Chelsea or Fulham football, and the Tube. Easy access to West End theatres, shopping, and fine wining and dining. The flat is very clean and comfortable with state of the art appliances. Ideal for a family or casual entertainment during a visit or informal business gathering. Good size kitchen, dining area and lounge, with a bonus terrace.

Former Expat Returning to London

I stayed for one week in the apartment and enjoyed it very much! The flat is modern and very nicely decorated, especially the living room. Also, it has a beautiful roof terrace and a comfortable kitchen. I also liked the location, it's only a seven minutes walk to Fulham Broadway station and a bus stop is just in front of the building, which was very convenient! I will definitely come again!

beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated, newly renovated, awesome terrace with great view. very spacey for London!

A FlipKey verified reviewer

The flat was airy and inviting, and the location was great. We could either walk to the Fulham Broadway tube stop, or take the 211 bus, stopping right in front of the station. There's a post office and an aTM directly across the street from the flat, a convenience store next door, and a choice of grocery stores within walking distance. We loved seeing all the dog walkers in the mornings and evenings, and ending our day sitting on our balcony.

Great location, short walk to the V&A; Museums, good transportation in all four directions, close to Imperial College if you have any 'study in London students. The apartment was very comfortable, fully equipped bright and with good ventilation. Perfect for two couples or a family. Especially liked being greeted and showed all the workings of the apartment as there are differences between the us and the UK. A great stay.

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks this summer and we found everything just perfect. The apartment has all you need during your stay in London: fully equipped, nice back garden were you can even have breakfast, two comfortable bedrooms, a modern and design kitchen and a nice living room where there is plenty of place for the kids to play. Moreover, the area nearby is well serviced by transports and there are a lot of shops and restaurants. We would recommend the stay to families and we will try to stay here again in our future visits to London.

Across the pond in an enchanting little neighborhood is the Hollywood Road flat. We were fortunate enough to have recently spent 2 weeks in this nice little flat. The location was perfect, as it is conveniently located in close proximity to a variety of very good restaurants, gourmet food stores, bakeries, grocery stores and other shops. Public transportation was easily accessible; bus stops were located within a couple of blocks (in any direction), while West Brompton and Earls Court Tube stations were within an easy 10-15 minute walk. The flat was comfortably furnished (especially noteworthy were the comfortable beds with the high quality bed linens), with an adequately equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. We found the terrace to be a wonderful place to relax after long days of sightseeing. I must point out that while the flat is located directly across the street from a popular pub and directly over two (side by side) restaurants, we were never bothered by noise. Many thanks to the delightful Ivy Lettings agent, Kate, for providing outstanding support during all the months of planning for this vacation, as well as during our stay; it was such a comfort to know that she was there for us. If I ever return to London I will definitely contact Ivy Lettings for accommodations. Guy, you run a top notch agency!

We stayed in this apartment for a week with our grand daughter and were very happy with it. It is comfortably and tastefully furnished, with extras such as books and magazines. The deck at the back meant that there was extra room to relax and enjoy the evenings. There is a restaurant underneath and a pub across the road. It was a short walk to a bus stop and it was a handy to many of London's attractions.

A great London base with fantastic support from Kate. Pleased with the recommended cab connection that was waiting even though our flight was 45 mins early. Really good transport options, particularly the bus routes which meant traveling with a small child was very easy. We were very grateful for the support with babysitters even at short notice. The flat is well set up - small second room but fine for us. A nice local high street provides good supplies. We stayed in the flat for two weeks and would recommend It. Travelling group: Family with young children My age: 35-44 Would I recommend this holiday rental to my best friend? Absolutely!

We visited London in August of 2010 and rented a flat through Ivy Lettings - I've been meaning to review for a while now! We worked with Guy to rent the Hollywood Road flat and he was very responsive, as we dealt mostly by email. No problems at all. His colleague (name?) met us upon our arrival and took us through the apartment, answering any questions we had. They left a nice booklet of information on favorite restaurants, activities, tube stations nearby. The flat was lovely, clean and well worth it. In fact, we most likely saved money by staying in a flat instead of a hotel, eating breakfast in on most days (there are nice bakeries down the street). All of the furnishing were tasteful and clean - including everything we could need in the kitchen. The veranda was large and delightful. Large windows look out on a nice little road with not a lot of noise. The Hollywood Arms pub is across the street and it was a little loud once or twice at closing time, but not a bother. In fact, we loved the pub and wished we could have spent more time over there -- we only made it in on our last night of the trip. We tried earlier, but after a certain time, our 9-year old could not be in the pub -- something to keep in mind if you are late diners like we are. We were turned down by a few places after they noticed we had a kid with us. Nevertheless, the area is a perfect place to stay. The neighborhood is safe and we were quite close to everything - shops, restaurants, Tesco down the street. I would highly recommend this address and working with Ivy Lettings. I will definitely do so if I am fortunate enough to return to London!

Our family of four stayed at the New Cavendish Street property for 9 days in July 2011. It was spotlessly clean and ideal for us--even a separate bathroom for the kids! The location was perfect--easy walking distance to Hyde Park, Bond Street tube station, and many shops and restaurants in Marylebone. The Tesco Express and Waitrose were very close by, so we could eat in when we chose. The flat is on the top floor of a lovely old building, so it's very quiet, but be warned that there's no elevator--you'll have to walk up six flights of stairs. But we didn't come and go that often, since we were usually out and about in London all day, so it was tolerable, and our kids were 13 and 10, so they could handle it. Ivy Lettings was absolutely great. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. We arrived on a weekend, so they arranged a driver who took us to the home of the Ivy Lettings agent to pick up our key, and then drove us to the flat. I would definitely use Ivy Lettings again, and have already recommended them to many of my friends. Overall, a fantastic experience!

One of the best accommodations our family of four enjoyed on vacation. Lots of natural light & a very safe building in a wonderfuly neighbourhood. Great restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Tonnes of room for parents & two teenaged children. Someone paid attention to every detail including setting the radio to a great station. Check in on a weekend was a breeze. Kate at Ivy Lettings was so helpfu. Thank you Ivy Lettings, you made things so easy for our family.

great place to stay, very nicely furnished and very relaxing inside. Perfectly located for quick trips out and a great area to stay.

from the start of contacting the agency to finding the property was easy. We wanted soemwhere that good transport links, and Hurlingham Court is a stones throw from Putney Bridge tube station. The flat is spacious (for London standards) and has all you would need if staying for a short time. There is free wifi which we found was good as we often checked online to see what shows were on and how to get to various museums. If I had to fault something then it would be the small bathroom other than that top marks, we will be back next year...

My husband, 10 year old son and I stayed here for 10 days on a recent trip to London. Amelia greeted us warmly when we arrived. There were wonderful pros and a just few cons to this place (just being honest!) But the pros far outweigh the cons and the cons certainly give no reason to not consider this property. Pros: two minute walk to the subway stop. Set out in the other direction, across the river, there is abundance of grocery stores, etc. Very comfortable amount of space for three people. Very clean & quiet. Nice kitchen setup. Washer and separate dryer was nice so we did not have to pack too many things from home. Cons: One of the bedrooms is situated under a stairwell for the rest of the building and could be a bit noisy in the mornings. Did not have all the amenities as listed...had to run out and buy a hairdryer, which we left there...no use for that here... Other than that, it was nice. We had some issues with the TV, but Guy was on it and worked it all out for us. We have utilized self catering apartments in various places throughout Europe. Mainly organizing through the internet...sometimes it is difficult to know if an operation is legit. Rest assured Ivy Lettings is, and they really will bend over backwards to make your stay a great experience. I wish them the best in continuing their business efforts.

We visited London with our three children, and Guy and amelia at Ivy Lettings went out of their way to welcome us. Amelia greeted us at the tube station, and walked us to our flat. During our stay, Amelia was always willing to assist us with any questions we had, even ones not related to the rental. She went out of her way to help us enjoy all aspects of our sightseeing. In terms of rental contracts, and all business interactions, Guy was prompt, professional and very determined to help us find a rental within our budget. As for the flat~wonderful! Very clean, comfortable beds, nice layout, great location, two minutes from a neat bookstore, pub, church, cafe and tube stop. Five minutes away is a downtown area where shopping is fun and easy, including a full grocery store and good restaurants. We would highly recommend Ivy Lettings to anybody looking for a memorable vacation in London.

First, I have to compliment Ivy Lettings for all the help they were , BEFORE I arrived. A problem arose and I needed to change the dates of my occupancy, by a week. They told me that I had a contract , but they would see what could be done if anything. Within the week I was told that the changes were approved , with no cost to me. This made my day as I was being billed over $600.00 by Air Canada for my changes with them. I also asked at the last minuit if I could get a computer hook up set up in the apartment. The ladies came to our place for 3 mornings in a row , in order to get me the service that I wanted. I would recommend their service toanyone. Second the Battersea Reach was just what we wanted. The size was perfect for 2. The location was great. A grocery store just opened in the apartment building next to ours. Our son came to visit for 2 days and an inflatable bed was made available for him. The building was new and modern. There is construction on the immediate site , but you could here none of it unless you opened the windows. The only sound I could here of my neighbours was the locking and unlocking of their doors. The apartment door has a solid 3 bolt system and can be heard when applied. The flat screen TV had a variety of channels of varing interest and i appreciated it. Were their things that I did not like or could complain about , yes but I would just be being picky. I would suggest the addition of a coffee maker and a tea pot. Transportation was almost at your doorstep. Buses in both directions stopped directly in front of the property. The train system has a station within a 7 minuit walk of the apartment. A walkway along the Thames was litterly at the back of the property and there was lots to see there. Rowers practicing along the river , some very nice restaurants were along the way. A heliport is just a few blocks away , but we could not hear it until we walked there. Interesting sites , like architecture and house boats.

Booking and checking in to this flat was very easy. We were met at the flat to run through the facilities by an Ivy representative. It is close to tube and buses for getting around the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars within an easy stroll.

Murphy Family

We stayed at Belgrave Road over New year. We are a family of four so the two bedrooms suited us perfectly. The flat is warm and welcoming after a long's day's sight-seeing. The flat is on a very smart, safe street midway between Pimlico and Victoria Street station which makes it very accessible for all the major sights in the city. There is also a bus which stops on the street almost outside the door. It is within walking distance of the river, from where we were able to view the fireworks on New Year's Eve over the Eye. The flat is spotless and has been completely modernised with two beautiful bathrooms with plenty of hot water. There is a dishwasher and washing machine and excellent wifi (a necessity when travelling with teenagers.) We rented through Ivy Lettings, who were thoroughly professional and organized our taxis to and from the airport etc.We were sad to leave Belgrave road, especially our son, who would quite happily have moved in permanently.

The flat was clean , comfortable and nicely furnished, and just as advertised. Nice space, well equipped and up to date kitchen and bathrooms. Easy walk to Victoria and Pimlico tube stations. Lots of interesting restaurants in the area. Staff was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was the perfect place for three friends visiting London. It is easily one of the most beautiful places to stay there. We easily fit in the spacious bedrooms, living room and two bathrooms, all of which were beautifully decorated and very well kept. The internet, kitchen, and barbecue facilities were particularly good. Access to the tube via Victoria or Pimlico stations was easy, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area which were helpfully recommended by Ivy Lettings. We would stay here again and again and highly reccomend it to anyone visiting London.

We were very pleased with Kate and Ivy Lettings. The property was exactly what was advertised. Kate was very helpfull with the booking and made arrangements for a car to pick us up from Heathrow. We were 2 blocks from Pimlico tube station where we started our adventures every morning.

This is a great flat in a pleasant, accessible west London neighborhood. The layout is excellent; principal rooms are spacious and attractive, with plenty of light and air. The two of us enjoyed relaxing in the living room, which overlooks a garden through large windows, and offers much of interest to readers with a love of literature. At the end of the day, we could count on sleeping well in very comfortable quarters. I loved it, and would cheerfully return. About the area: It's a nice walking neighborhood, with plenty of services and good meal options nearby. Underground stations are a short walk away, and the ride to the center of London takes maybe 10-15 minutes, depending on time of day and distance you're traveling. All in all, a happy choice.

Stayed here with my family for 11 nights. It was fantastic. Very comfortable and well appointed flat. Wonderful breeze through the big windows in front and out back. Location was really good, easy walk to Shepherd's Bush or Kensington (Olympia) stations. Great neighborhood - felt safe at all times. The noise of the rail line out back took a little getting used to, but added to the urban feel. Management was available and helpful.

A home from home. We loved this flat. So comfortable and peaceful, it had everything we needed. We loved the view on the trees and the balcony on the front (where we sometimes had our morning coffee). The location is perfect. We found excellent restaurants and cafe's nearby. Great neighborhood pubs too, with excellent food. And often took walks to Holland Park (which is only 15 minutes walk away). Tube is 10 minutes to the heart of the city, the museums and theaters. We would happily stay there again.

The apartment was exactly as promised and more, since we had everything we needed and we even found things like coffee, sugar, etc... not to mention soap for the dishwasher and the washing machine. The neighborhood is lovely and the apartment is only about three hundred meters from Pimlico tube station, and right across the street from a small supermarket. We like walking and this apartment is within walking distance from many tourist attractions, such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster abbey, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, etc. The only drawback for us was that there's no elevator so we had to carry our daughter's stroller up and down the stairs. Anyway, it's only one floor so it was not very problematic. We are already recommending the apartment and your services to our family and friends because having such a well equipped apartment simplified things a great deal for us (we were traveling with our two year old daughter), and helped us enjoy our first visit to London even more.

Lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable, warm. Big windows give a lot of light. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Location is excellent; Pimlico station is 2 min away, and supermarket is very close as well. The only minus is noise from traffic. I booked this apartment with Ivy lettings, who were great, very quick in responding to emails and easy check in/check out.

Easy checkin with friendly helpful staff from Ivy Letting. Place was very clean and comfortable. Close to everything you could possibly need. Place was noisy as no double glazing and on busy street, but this was easly fixed with ear plugs and it was worth it to stay in such a lovely central place

A FlipKey verified reviewer

This flat sits on the corner of a busy intersection. All day long until 8 or 9pm you hear constant cars and buses. The noise levels off a bit after 9pm, but you can still hear some. Being at the intersection, you hear people braking to stop at the light, then revving the engine to go when it turns green. It is not a place for light sleepers. A few things that happened should be noted. A fuse was blown a few days after I arrived. We managed to find the fuse box and get everything working except for the lights. We called Ivy Lettings. The owner wanted to know if we could wait until the next day to get things repaired. That would have meant a whole day and night with no lights! He apparently wanted to see if he could fix the electrical problem himself. I thought that was very odd. The owner wanted access to the flat to get something he forgot. I felt very uncomfortable about this. He showed up 1.5 hours late at 7:30 and opened the front door with his own keys. When you rent a flat, it should be yours for the duration. You should not be inconvenienced to sit around waiting on someone or to stay awake until he shows up at his convenience. A few days after I left the flat, I received an e-mail from Ivy Lettings telling me that the owner was missing a sofa cushion. He wanted to know if I had done something with it! Obviously, I did not take the man's cushion.. I'm glad I did not sign the extra 5 page contract that they wanted me to sign upon my arrival. I imagine that would have entitled them to charge me for items the owner could not find. I suspect this owner does not really want to rent the flat. He lives there when he is in town and you get the feeling you are invading his privacy. I would prefer to stay somewhere that was a regular rental, not someone's apartment. I enjoyed dealing with Ivy Lettings.

This flat is in the perfect location to explore London. Located right next to Tower Bridge and a 10 min walk to London Bridge. Great for access to the train, tube, LRT and river ferries. A short walk down the street and you are on the Thames Pathway. Tons of good restaurants, bars, stores and cafes in the area. The flat is a pretty good size for London. It has a fully stocked kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable living and dining room and a balcony. The queen size bed is very comfortable. The window and 2 doors can both be opened for fresh air. It is on the third floor but has a lift for when you are moving suitcases or groceries. The management company was very responsive to all our inquiries. Highly recommend both the flat and the location.

I live near Eagle Wharf and rented the flat there for my parents when they visited me in London. My parents were very impressed with the flat and found it to be clean, comfortable and very well equipped. With the benefit of a sitting room and kitchen, they found it far preferable to a hotel room. The location is great, right by the river and Tower Bridge, near lots of lovely restaurants and easy access to two different tube stations. I thought the The Ivy Lettings team were brilliant, very helpful and accommodating. The only minor thing to be aware of is that that it doesn't get much natural daylight - but who wants to stay in doors all day anyway. We've all agreed we'll definitely book it for future stays.

We rented this flat through Ivy Lettings and the process went very smoothly thanks to Alexa who worked with us. The flat itself is marvelously situated in a quite square. Winston Churchill lived in that square at one point. We were within a 5 min walk of the Victoria tube station and 15 min walk to Buckingham Palace. The flat was immaculate and on the third level. The living spaces were on two floors--bedrooms/baths first level and living areas/ktichen above. Second bedroom had two single beds which worked well with our 2 boys. We did not use them but there was a washing machine and dryer. Internet worked well. Only surprising issue with furniture was that the couches in the living room have seen a better day and we were surprised they were there in what was otherwise a well put together place. We arranged our arrivals and departures through a company used by Ivy Lettings (Green Tomato Cars) and they were very professional and early both pickup times.

BaltMomDoc

We stayed in this flat for two weeks in May 2012. Ivy Lettings arranged for a private Taxi to pick up up from the airport, pick up the keys and deliver us to Eccleston square. The flat was very comfortable, very clean (I am picky about cleanliness), and very centrally located. The flat is on the top floors of the building. So you enter the locked door of the building, walk up two flights of stairs to enter the flat, which is also locked- very safe. There is no elevator. Once in the flat, you go up another flight of stairs to the floor where the two bedrooms are. Both are very roomy, and there is a dresser in each room, and plenty of closet space. There is a bathroom for each room, both bathrooms have tubs with showers and are nicely remodeled and clean. The clothes dryer is located in the closet under the stairs. Up one flight of stairs is the kitchen, living and dinning rooms. Plenty big- two big couches and two large easy chairs in the living room near the TV. The dinning table is really large with at least 6 chairs. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need-inc useful items like dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, salt, sugar, etc (we replaced what we used). The laundry washer is in the kitchen. So, you bring your clothes upstairs to wash them, then back downstairs to dry. This flat is just two blocks from Victoria station- where there is an underground station, a rail station, and a bus station. Only a mile or so to Westminster abbey, Buckingham palace, the Tate Britain, and many other central sites. We were impressed that even though this flat is so close to Victoria station, it was very quiet! Grocery stores are within two blocks. Dealing with alexa at Ivy Lettings was a real pleasure. The information sent to us ahead of time, and in the binder at the flat contained everything we needed to know and more. My emails were answered quickly. I highly recommend this flat, and Ivy Lettings, and we will definitely stay here again!

This apartment was clean and comfortable, and it felt very secure and safe. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here during our 9-night visit to London. The location is outstanding. Ivy Lettings provided great service.

Just spent a week in London and booked Elverton Street through Ivy Lettings. What a a great location - close to everything in London including the 'tube'. The flat was bright and clean, loaded with Dvd's in case of rain, local phone, washing machine, dish washer...and even a wine bottle opener - very well equipped. Plus we were greeted by one of the lovely ladies from Ivy Lettings on arrival. Would recommend this vacation rental highly.

Susan

Excellent location but one word of caution bring ear plugs! Big Ben is very close as is a school and there is quite a bit of traffic. It is quieter on weekends. It is close to everything - Buckingham Palace is 10 minutes, Westminster abbey and Parliment are 10 minutes. 5 minutes to St. james park tube station, lots of nearby grocery stores, pubs and restaurants. Very spacious flat - two large double bedrooms, large living/dining room, good sized kitchen (no microwave) and two large bathrooms. Very secure building with a friendly and helpful porter. Good for two friends who don't like sharing a bed or bath or two couples.

Beth

I highly recommend this apartment and Ivy Lettings. It is very clean and well-maintained and the building has a porter who can quickly help with any problems. The location, which has places to grab a quick bite or buy a few things for the apartment within a block or so, is within walking distance to Victoria Station, St. James Park, and Westminster abbey. The only two quibbles we had were that there isn't a microwave (would have been great given that we didn't want to spend a lot of time cooking but did not want to eat every meal out) and that the daybed in the living room is really, really hard. It was ok for sitting on but would have been terrible if we had been using it as a bed. See, I said they were quibbles!

My wife and I stayed here for an extended time and it was perfect. An amazing location in London for seeing the sites and having access to everywhere. It is even possible to walk to many places of interest like the museums, the Kings Road, Knightsbridge. Also very close to Earls Court Station. The flat itself is also great. Really secluded from the busy streets of London by being a few floors up (there is an elevator!) which also affords it some great rooftop views from the back...where there is a fantastic balcony/deck about the size of a squash court! Inside has a good feeling of space by the stairs arriving straight into the living room that easily fits in the dining table and the living area with the sofas and TV. Not the biggest kitchen you will find, but it does all that you need of a one. If you are thinking about staying here, I would say do. You will enjoy the location, the feel of the place and idea that you are staying in one of the poshest areas of London.

I keep coming back to this top floor flat, which says it all. It is comfortable, tasteful, cosy and full of character and the agents ensure it is always welcoming and well equipped. Unusually for London, an expansive, private roof terrace with an amazing view, provides outside space which effectively doubles the area of the flat. Communications to other parts of London are excellent, but the close location itself is buzzing. There is a variety of little restaurants and pubs, some of which are known to entertain royal visitors; it's close to the classiest retail outlets in Knightsbridge and the Kings Road, and for culture within easy distance of of the Albert Hall and V&A. Important for sole travellers like me, I feel perfectly safe in the area at all times. The whole package brings me back , but the location, the character, and the furnished roof terrace really sell it to me. It is impossible to find anything negative to say about this flat; thinking about it, the fan in the bathroom could be a bit quieter!

We had a wonderful two weeks in London and loved the experience of living in Chelsea. The apartment worked out very well and we found that since we used buses more than the tube the location was not a problem. The apartment was very clean and well set up for guests. With a group of women the hair drying situation (no hair dryers or electrical outlets in bathrooms) and small water heater were a challenge but we managed. The beds were very comfortable, the sofas and chairs in the living room, not so much. I would definitely work with Ivy Lettings again. They were quick to respond to emails and there were no surprises; everything worked out as arranged. We appreciated being picked up at the airport and getting taken to the key pickup address on the way to the house.

We enjoyed our stay at Paradis Walk. It was like a little home away from home. Very comfortable, the only thing I would say is that there are a lot of stairs with three levels, but as long as you are fit enough for that, it is a great place to stay. If there was anything needed it would be a dishwasher. We loved the area and being close to the city. The bus is closer than the train, but it is well connected. We will stay here again if we return to London.

We recently spent a week in London to attend a very special family wedding. We stayed in Paradise Walk for our duration in London, and loved it so much we could hardly bear to leave it! It was perfect for sll our requirements, and so comfortable and convenient - what a fantastic location! Would definitely stay there again.

Just returned from a week's stay in this property. It was very comfortable and a delight to stay in. The walk to the tube is about 10 minutes, past the National Army Museum and the Royal Hospital at Chelsea. The neighborhood is very quiet, there is a Tesco Express 2 minutes around the corner, and several restaurants and a pub nearby. Fully furnished kitchen, small sitting area upstairs, and good beds. It was especially nice to have two bathrooms and to have twin beds in one of the bedrooms. Note that there are three floors, so not good for those who have trouble climbing stairs; but for those who don't mind stairs, it's a great place to stay - and gets your calves in shape, too! The folks at Ivy Lettings were also very helpful and easy to work with. Overall, I highly recommend this as a good place to stay in London.

We loved this house! Beautiful, charming, full of character, and had everything we needed in modern-day appliances. Our travel party consisted of my husband and I, and our four children ages 8-14. There was more than enough space for all of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment system! There were just a few issues we ran into - but nothing that obstructed our stay. There was a faulty shower in the master bath, there was no one to greet us upon arrival to show us how anything worked, and we were overcharged upon checkout. The overage was resolved, though it took six weeks to be refunded. I would still happily stay here again, as it met our needs and was quite convenient with the "tube" just down the street. I would request someone to meet us next time however, as there were a few appliances that were a bit tricky to master. We happened to visit during a surprising heat wave, which made the un-air conditioned house a bit too warm during the days, but we were mostly out during the daytime. We traipsed all over London and wore ourselves out, crashing hard every evening. The locals were very friendly! I highly recommend the 15 minute walk to Seashell Restaurant for the fish and ships! Yum!! A word of caution to those not good with lots of stairs - this house has an abundance! Great for wearing down the kids, not so good for those with knee troubles. Another note, although not a deal-breaker for us, there was no freezer in the kitchen. These are just some things to be aware of when booking.

My family and I planned this trip to London for almost a year. There are six of us, my wife and I, and our four children age 5 to 13, so we tend to stay in vacation rentals for longer trips. We all loved this place. It was really nice and exactly what we expected. Everything was immaculate. The kitchen is full of all kinds of dishes, utensils, and pretty much everything you need. There are books and movies everywhere. The electronics were superb, from the LCD TVs to the Wii to the DVD player. They even had a VCR, which none of my children had ever even heard of. The bathrooms were great. The bedrooms were great. Everything was. There are two outside patios, one on the ground level and one on the basement level (still trying to figure that out!) that were fun for meals. Ivy was great. We were helped by the very professional Alexa who even went grocery shopping for us before we arrived. It was nice having a stocked pantry when we got there. The location is amazing, especially if you have children. Regent's Park is literally across the street. Well, two streets technically, but less than two minutes to get there. The back of the park has the London Zoo and that is a great walk. We paddle boated in the lake and just really enjoyed the park. Next door to the property is a pub which has good food, and next door to it is the famed 221B Baker Street where there were always people waiting to take a photograph. Down Baker Street just a bit is the Underground. You don't even have to cross a big street to get to it, just Baker. That's about it. I would offer a couple of considerations. First, there is wireless Internet in the basement and the connection speed is good. As you go up from there, the signal gets weaker. So if someone needs a connection, I would suggest avoiding the 4th and 5th floors. Second, the property, according to my son, has 68 stairs from the basement to the top floor. I never realized how often I need to go from room to room, which in essence means walking a flight of steps. So consider this when you are assigning rooms. We put our smallest children on the top floor which may not have been the best decision. Oh, finally, if you are an American, get Kate or Alexa to go over the operation of the oven. There are instructions, but it took us awhile to figure the whole system out. That's about it... We are planning a return trip and certainly plan to stay here again.

1. Fantastic facilities, gym, cooking, bathrooms and washing. Excellent basics provided for travellers. Extremely comfortable and clean. Temperature was very hot particularly at night. 2. The accomodation was outstanding! All furnishings were really comfortable and we had everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. The position of the unit was very central to all train and bus links. But, we could not independently adjust the heating and the unit was at times very uncomfortable to sleep 3. Accomodation central to all needs to get into London. Bus links, tube and overland trains all close by. Tesco Express handy downstairs for all your grocery requirements. Security very good. As the heating was at a constant 25 degrees life was a bit uncomfortable not so good when you open the doors for fresh air and the noise of the traffic then takes over. This was the only downside - hopefully this can be resolved for future rentals.

We stayed at the Wireworks apartment last week with our college-aged son and agree with the comments others have posted. The apartment has a nice balcony with views of the neighborhood, the training facilty for the London Fire Brigage (it was fascinating to watch 20 trainees practicing putting out fires!), a soccer field, and the London Eye. We appreciated the cleanliness, space, and comfort of the apartment. It is a bit out of the way (about a 10 minute walk to Southwark) but one block from the double-decker city busses that can easily take you anywhere in London. Overall we were very happy with our accomodation choice!

We love contemporary architecture and this is a smart and stylish 'penthouse' in a great part of London. The space is very generous, and nicely appointed. There are two small terraces with wonderful views to the 'Eye' and the 'Shard'. Saturday morning make sure to start at the Burrough Market and bring back your bounty to the apartment for a delicious brunch.

Ideally located within walking distance of central London. We stayed there over New Year and had fabulous uninterrupted views from the London Eye (and fireworks) to the 'Gherkin' and round to the 'Shard of Glass'. Borough Market is so close and a must-do. Tate Modern is barely a ten minute walk too. Despite the proximity to so much it was remarkably quiet. The street parking was free over the weekend. The flat itself is wonderfully spacious, modern, well-equipped and felt very safe. It comfortably accommodated the four of us and this made for a very relaxing stay. Totally recommended.

The people from Ivy Lettings were great, they were very helpful and quickly answered all our questions. The apartment was great, very well equipped, spacious, and very confortable. It is in a nice and calm neighbourhood, near a beautiful park. There are stores to buy anything you may need close to the apartment. There are metro and bus stops close to it, and you can get to the centre in about 20 minutes. Overall, a great apartment and a great service from people in Ivy Lettings, and we will recommend it.

This one bedroom flat is perfect for 2 people looking to stay right in the heart of the city. It was clean and comfortable and looks just like the pictures. The kitchen was great and the bathroom had all the hot water that you needed. The best part is the location, close to everything! The Ivy Letting agent was there to greet us at the arranged time and was friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay in this flat again or use Ivy Lettings services again.

We had an absolutely amazing time and would recommend to anyone! We were looking for a 2 bedroom ensuite aparment within walking distance to a zone 1 or 2 tube station, a slightly stiff request. This flat more than fulfilled our requirements and was within walking distance of both Holland park (2mins) and Nottinghill (12mins) both areas are delightful, if on the expensive side. The Flat more than fit our requirements with 2 ensuite bedrooms and being on the 7th floor was very quiet. My only niggle would be the housekeeping situation , the owner has a housekeeper that comes in once a week, but am not sure to do what except dust. We were asked that if we wanted our linen washed we had to remove from the bed and put on the floor in front of the washer, then were told where to find new linen. I Feel that we were paying enough to have had the linen changed for us - even once a week. Ivy Lettings service was amazing they arranged transport to and from the flat on arrival and departure, while we never actually met anyone from the company they called on numerous occassions to check on us.

Close to Holland Park tube and the shops of Holland Park avenue, this two bed, two bath apartment is efficient and comfortable. On the seventh floor it is light filled and modern with great views over west London. With easy access to Oxford Street or Westfield Mall it is a shoppers delight. Definitely recommended; I will be back.

I travel to London a fair amount, and recently have always rented from Ivy Lettings. This apartment is perfect--large enough to feel like I have ample space, but not more space than I need. It is nicely appointed, and walking distance from two tube stations--High St. Kensington is no more than a 2 minute walk around the corner. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the neighbors even said hello while I was there. I was there for work, so I can't say whether it's better for tourism or not. Still, there is shopping within easy walking distance and a number of west end neighbors nearby. A large Sainsbury grocery store within walking distance as well. Perfect for my one week in London. On a related note, Ivy Lettings is a superb company. I've rented from them twice now and they are detailed and meticulous. Each time I've rented a small travel problem has unexpectedly come up on my end, and Ivy has always been able to find an easy solution. Sometimes their places cost a little bit more, but I rent from them anyway because I know they're reliable and easy to deal with.

I stayed in this beautiful and peaceful flat for one week in august, together with my wife, her sister and our 18-month old daugther, and things couldn't have gone better. The 2 bedrooms are not particularly big, but are alright and most importantly the apartment is well-kept, clean and extremely cozy. It is just across the street from a nice little park and a church (this is what you see through all of the windows of the apartment). There is not a huge amount of accessories provided in the kitchen, so I wouldn't plan on organising dinner with friends there, also because space is at a premium; nevertheless it is more than adequate to cook up something in-house as opposed to going out for dinner every night, which is exactly what we were looking for. There is only one bathroom it is fairly small but again, clean and well-kept. You also get a flat-screen tv in the living room, an ipod-compatible music box and, most importantly, free internet wifi. In terms of location, what can I say? You are right around the corner from King's Road, and within walking distance from the Sloane Street and South Kensington tube stations, without mentioning all the buses that run up and down King's Road. I lived in London for 6 years and, believe me, it doesn't get any better than this. It is also worth mentioning that I settled on this apartment after a lengthy search, and I can assure you that the price / quality ratio of this apartment is way up there. Furthermore, the people from Ivy Lettings were really helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, and communication, both by phone and by email, was always fast and effective. Being able to trust the people providing the service is a huge intangible, especially when you are investing your hard earned money and, most importantly, your much deserved vacation break! When it comes to renting flats in London, I have heard many ugly war stories...but I assure you you'll be just fine dealing with these people.

My daughter and me were amazed. We had no idea what to expect and we loved it from the first moment! The apartment was very clean, very sweet furnished and the big windows gave it a great light. Also the area is perfect! It was quiet and still very close to underground and bus. The main street had everything you need for shopping.

I enjoyed my month in the flat at Parkhill Road so much, A lovely and comfortable environment both within the flat and in the surrounding area. Perfect for a mature woman holidaying alone in London. A minor issue issue is that the flat wasn't advertised as having no television - though I ended up enjoying my month without it!

Our family of four has just returned from a week in London, staying at The Cut flat that is offered by Ivy Lettings. We made all arrangements with Guy, who was very professional, informative and accomodating. We were met at the flat by Guy and his associate, Alexa, given a tour and an information package for the flat and for the neighbourhood. The flat was wonderful - great location, spacious, very clean and secure. We look forward to our next trip to London and will definitely rent again from Guy and Ivy Lettings.

We stayed for 7 nights in September 2010. We found the whole experience excellent - from the first contact via the Internet when renting the apartment, to the pick up of the keys, and the duration of our stay. We couldn't have found a better located apartment in London in wonderful Covent Garden. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, lovely bathroom, really comfortable bed, lovely enclosed courtyard. It was a great base for our stay in London and we would definitely recommend to our friends, and also would not hesitate to book this place again when we return to London. Fantastic!!

I rented the Long Acre flat for a week in May and opted to make my way via train/tube. I was a bit late, but was graciously met by Alexa from Ivy Lettings, who toured me around the apartment and left detailed information about the area and amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and their appointment. Fresh flowers waited in the living area, along with an iPod and speaker with a great selection of music. Nice touches! The Covent Garden tube is just a block and a half away, so it's literally a two minute walk. Marks & Spencer and Tesco offer good food/alcohol selection, so I managed to hose a small gathering during my time there - taking full advantage of the outdoor space. As the rating suggests, I highly recommend Ivy Lettings and the Long Acre flat.

S.T. from Toronto, Ontario on 5/25/2010 for a stay in 5/1/2010

We stayed at Long Acre for 6 nights in April, using the flat as a base for our sightseeing and catching up with London friends. Finding the flat and organising the rental was a breeze. The service was prompt, friendly and flexible. The location of the apartment is sensational, in the middle of everything but very quiet. It is well appointed and extremely roomy and comfortable. The heated outdoor area was a bonus. There is a M&S and a Piccadilly line Underground station just minutes away so we were able to easily get there from Heathrow. They even had a good coffee machine. Definitely one to return to time and time again.

Ivy Lettings agency: Guy was great to deal with - prompt and efficient in his replies and providing all information needed. He kept us updated about where things were at through the inquiry and bookings process and helpfully met us at the property upon our arrival to greet and orient us. Guy also pre-organised our taxi from Heathrow which was great for our evening arrival for the first time to London. Useful instructions about appliances in the apartment and information about the local area were provided on arrival. Long Acre letting: The flat/apartment had plenty of room for two adults and was beautifully presented with modern, tasteful furnishings. Very clean with plenty of supplies of consumables (dishwahing powder, laundry powder, etc). One flight of stairs from main doorway down to apartment door. Key for main door from the street was troublesome and required patience to open, which was was acknowledged by Guy on arrival. Heating worked well and kept us comfortable during our early Spring stay. Location: Well situated in the heart of Covent Garden. Two minutes to Covent Garden underground station. Easy walk to many central London sights (Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, Westminster, Picadilly) with many sights/experiences right around the local area (Piazza, Opera House, Somerset House, The Strand, West End theatres). Marks and Spencer grocery store opposite the underground station. Numerous cafes (including chains such as Pret a Manger and Starbucks - if that's your thing), pubs and restaurants all around. We would recommend Guy and Ivy Lettings and the Long Acre apartment for a great London stay.

I felt like a local living it up in a very beautiful and trendy area of London. The apartment is cosy, homey and light filled. The kitchen is well equip, bathroom modern and living areas comfortable. The location is perfect. An easy walk from tube stops; a beautiful park and garden (perfect for a morning run), major museums; high streets for fashion or food; supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The letting agent was very friendly and helpful when trying to find accommodation and during my stay. The whole experience was really easy. Absolutely recommended! Perfect for the independent traveller.

I got nothing more to write about this apartment after reading the last review from 'tripsgirl' - Newland, NC Review. What is very worthwhile to read because I sign below, and for sure it's all true. Absolutely was the best place I spent my vacation and a great deal to do. For those who will stay long in London and don't like any kind of discomfort in the hostels is a great option. For couples, groups of friends to feel like a local resident and family as well. All furniture and fittings are well maintained, well distributed, clean and of excellent quality. The girls were efficient, even before with questions and some Doubts I had along the way and needed their help. Kate was kind to me at all. I have indicated to some friends and I will definitely continue to do that. I did not expect that the location was so good and have Regent's Park as a backyard is a wonderful thing. You should check it. A great deal. ;) Trust

This small flat, large enough for the two of us, was situated in an excellent location, half a block from the tube and across the street from Regent's Park. Good restaurants and other facilities near by. The flat was very clean and well equipped with functional furniture and appliances. The service we received was excellent. The only drawback is this is a basement apt. with limited light, but we didn't mind so much since we did not spend so much time there.

Marina K. from Lexington, MA on 11/8/2011 for a stay in 11/1/2011

What a pleasant surprise, it was better than the pictures! The flat was very clean from kitchen to bath and everywhere in between. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, hot water pot, microwave/convection oven, toaster, and a dishwasher. The bath includes a small washer/dryer combo unit and a wonderful heated towel rack. The space is well designed. There is a nook that is out of sight and mind where we stored our luggage, a huge closet with lots of space, shelves, drawer units and space for boots and shoes. The location is unbelievable-a block from Baker Street Station (and yes, you walk by Sherlock's 221B address coming and going from the tube!), which connects you to anywhere and everywhere you could want to go. The first week I was there alone and never once felt unsafe. My girlfriend lived about 15 minutes tube ride away and she would take me to the station close to her and I would walk home from Baker Street Station at night with no worries. Madame Tussauds is just around the corner and there always seems to be people about. The entrance to Regents Park is a block walk in the other direction and although we went to the botanical garden, we found it more enjoyable (and free). A half block turn right and another half block and you are at the grocery store (Tesco). Boots (drug store) adjoins the tube station and the fresh flower cart is on the half block corner along with a fantastic coffee and sandwich shop. Across the street is Croque Monsieur which serves breakfast all day. Ivy Lettings was great to work with. No hassles, no unexpected surprises, and alexa and Kate were very sweet to work with us when a problem did arise (my girlfriend accidentally took the key with her the first night after dropping me off and was out of town on business the next day). I wish I had found them earlier in my search and it would have saved me a great deal of time and effort. We can't wait to go back and we will definitely be staying here again!

Earl Court's apartment from Ivvy Lettings is a very, very good option for an intended stay in London. It's superbly located, walking distance from the tube station, supermarkets, Pubs, and pharmacies. The apartment is very clean, confortable, and it's wisely equipped with the necessary items. The only drawback can be the noise from the train trucks (only in case you are not used to it, otherwise, as the days go by, you get use to it), but again, this is just a "flaw" nothing else, since nothing's perfect.

I booked this property through Ivy Lettings whom I have used several times before and once again they were outstanding in their service. It was like coming back to stay with old friends! I stayed in this property with my 3 children and it was absolutely perfect for us. It was so handy to Earls Court Tube Station (2 minutes walk) and all the various supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants in Earls Court Road. The property itself was outstanding in terms of cleanliness and was very well equipped for a one bedroom property. Two of my children slept on the fold out beds provided in the lounge and it was absolutely fine for us as we were out for the majority of the day. Although there is a tube line that runs close to the property we really did not notice it much at all. With all conveniences supplied - internet, tv, microwave, it was the perfect base for us. I also should mention that we got stuck in London due to the volcanic ash and both Ivy Lettings and the owner were absolutely fantastic in easing our anxiety by making sure we could stay on until we could get our flight back home. If you are looking at a handy, clean, convenient and easy on the budget base in London then I would highly recommend this property.

My daughter and I recently spent a week in the flat at Earls Court Gardens and I am now completely sold on vacation rentals in general, and Ivy Lettings in particular. The flat was well appointed, clean, and we had everything we needed. The Ivy Lettings representative met us at the flat (even though she had to wait quite a long time because our flight was delayed) and was helpful and enthusiastic, showing us the features of the flat. The location was really good as the Earls Court station is very close by and it has 3 tube lines running through it. We could get anywhere we wanted to go very easily. Being able to eat breakfast as "home" as well a few other meals, meant that our costs were much less than they would have been if we'd stayed in a hotel...and it was fun to stay in a real London home. The flat does back onto the rail tracks and there are trains running throughout the day, but the noise wasn't a problem for us at all. Ivy Lettings made sure that we were aware of this before we booked, which I really appreciated.

Renting through Ivy Lettings was a breeze- Alexa was extremely helpful, even arranging for a car to pick us up for our return flight. As noted, this apartment is close to the Earl's Court tube station, and there is some noise, but not any more than what you would expect from normal street noise in any city. It in no way kept us up at night. Beside easy access to the tube, there are several grocery stores within very easy walking distance as well as a few nice pubs. Besides the bedroom sleeping accommodations, one of the chairs in the living folds out into a bed- but do expect a lot of early morning sunlight if sleeping there. Overall, a comfortable apartment within easy access to all of London's attractions.

When we came to the apartment we were kindly welcomed by Guy and he told us about the apartment and what is good to know and it felt really good. We lived four persons in that apartment for a month, so it was a bit crowded but we manage to live there anyway. The apartment was small, but very cosy and fresh looking. The area where the apartment was, was even better. A lot of great restaurants, Starbucks and Supermarkets. It was also very close to the tube which was great. My friends and I had a great experience in the apartment at Earls Court Gardens, and I wouldn't mind going back there.

We stayed at the property for a week last Summer and found the apartment to be delightful. Should we be lucky enough to return to London we would definitely book this flat again.

Absolutely loved staying at this apartment! perfect way to see london, and very good value, esp. considering what it would cost at a hotel (we had to stay at one for one night before our stay and it was really ludicrous). As for the apartment, it was very light and airy. Lovely memories! Would definitely stay here again and with the ivy lettings team!

Tammy

The flat was just what we needed, nothing over the top, so we felt like we could really relax. What singled this flat out was that it was in a jolly good location, right next to the tube and to the main street meaning we could access the city on foot very easily. We will definitely return and look forward to exploring more of London. Thanks to the team at Ivy Lettings for all your kind help

We received great service while using this vacation rental. Ivy Lettings was very thorough with their information regarding the property, and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had regarding different elements of our stay. The home was a wonderful choice for us and provided everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. It is located in a nice residential area, near a beautiful park, and has a multitude of different businesses located within easy walking distance. These include several types of restaurants, including an Indian restaurant, an English Pub and a Spanish Tapas restaurant. The neighborhood has two grocery stores, important to us because we reduced the cost of eating out by buying simple foods to prepare at home. They are located next to the two nearest tube stops. The larger store with the most selection is next to the Fulham Broadway stop, but we frequently used the one next to Parson Green because it's slightly closer to the rental home, and has an ATM next door. The Fulham Broadway stop is connected to a shopping area that has several types of stores, including one our teenagers found captivating. The nearby park is teeming with activity during the day, filled with people walking their dogs, pushing baby strollers and playing with their children. The home itself was quite comfortable, and met all our needs during our stay. We were vacationing with two teens, aged 16 and 17, and a college student, aged 22. The teens loved their top floor bedroom, and basically, fell in love with the house. It has the feel of a quintessential English home, with a sunroom and garden, and a cozy living room for relaxing after a hectic day of sight seeing. Having access to a washer/dryer for laundry allowed us to bring less luggage. Because the home has a security system, we had no concerns about leaving valuables and passports there while sight seeing. Overall, our time spent here was restful and very enjoyable.

L. B.

Very cosy family home, super comfortable. Had a wonderful stay, loved London, hope to be back here soon with more of the family!

Derrick

I really enjoyed my stay. Ivy Lettings staff were professional, quick to respond and very friendly. My personal check-in with Emma was very helpful, as she showed me how things in the property worked, and also gave me tips on local attractions (of which there were quite a few - lots of pubs, restaurants etc.) Only one small issue during the trip with access, but this was mostly my fault as I didn't print out the relevant instructions! Would book with Ivy Lettings again, definitely, though would possibly have an even longer stay - there's just so much to do in London!

Harold H.

Absolutely amzaing location. just off high st. ken! had everything in te flat, no need to bring anythingb but clothes! love the people love the cityy!

Christine Xim

Had a lovely time! Wanted to stay at Wandsworth Bridge, but this seemed just as good! Very very attractive property, pretty features. Thank you Ivy Lettings!

Joanna M.

Highlight of our trip was being so close to the park! My husband and I went for a walk every day in the morning before embarking on the very arduous task of sight-seeing (ha!), so so beautiful. But it was nice to have a beautiful flat to come back to, made the whole trip very relaxing. Will be coming back to London in future years and hope to stay here!

Perfect location - could easily walk to Harrods, Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. My husband and I came over from California and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were very impressed by the apartment and will be booking to stay here again next year!

Dawn Tate

Stayed here whilst on a business trip in June 2012 - it was ideally located for me, working in Green Park and my wife enjoyed the surrounding area - she even took to running in Hyde Park in the mornings. Many thanks Ivy, we'll be back.

Christopher Douglas

Loved this apartment, it was so tastefully decorated, and the views across London from the terrace was just gorgeous - we stayed in the summer and watching the sun set was something we'll never forgot!). the Ivy team was helpful, and made sure i was comfrotable when i arrived and after when i had some questions about checkout. felt really homey, didnt want to leave!

Pia d.

Stunning stunning apartment!!! We absolutely adored our stay! Ivy were great and the location was perfect for us to visit the whole city easily. Coming back next year!

Tacy Clare

I had stayed with Ivy Lettings before, so knew what to expect - excellent service, and a very friendly team. Hadn't stayed in this particular flat though, but it still lived up to expectations. Somehow very light and bright, even on dreary London evenings! Really loved some of the quirky features, like a little fold-down single bed in one of the rooms. Would stay here again, and already planning my next trip to London with Ivy!

We had a lovely 2 weeks here at the end of the Summer and really enjoyed it. Our son lives just off Portobello Road so the location was ideal. The only downside for us was the flight of stairs to get to the apartment - my husband has a very bad back and finds steps difficult to manage, however I am sure it be fine for most people. Ivy Lettings were really helpful and dropped off clean towels midway through our stay. Overall it was great and we would definitely reccommend it.

Carol Rowland

Thank you for having us to stay in your beautiful home! Everything was perfect and Emma was really helpful. We were just next to the tube which was great for the kids and we are so glad we chose Fulham, having not really heard of the area before it was really quiet and safe at night, which were our main priorities when we booked. My daughter Arianna slept on the sofa bed and said it was very comfortable so the property easily sleeps 5 people. We will definitely return to the area and probably the apartment too as we thought it was fantastic!

Rosanna Richardson

We stayed for a week in this lovely home in the South Kensington area of London. The house is on three levels with a bedroom and bath on the first and second levels. The living room, kitchen and garden room were on the ground floor. The garden room was lovely and bright and the home is full of the owners lovely furnishings. The location of this property is ideal to use as a base for a London stay. The tube station is a short 10 minute walk; grocery store is just a few blocks and there are many restaurants within a few blocks. Harrods is only 15 minutes away! I would definitely recommend this property. It would not be appropriate for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or for children.

DiCalif

Loved DONNE PLACE, so pretty. Loved that it had a little bit of outside space, made it feel a bit less claustrophobic in London. Thanks so much for accommodating us at your home! Had no real problems, though a little issue finding the place (I think this was probably more my fault though, oops!) Once there, checked in by somebody who I'd been speaking to via email for a long time, so felt I knew her quite well. Helped me trust Ivy. Now all I can say is thank you so much for letting me stay at your home!

O. Peters

Very smart apartment, really close to the tube and everything is in good working order - I was very impressed!

Dana Tait

very well located, would stay here again. i liked the decor but it was sometimes perhaps a little dark (so red!), though i quite liked it! thank you so much!

H. B. L.

Location location location! Ideally located 2 minutes from my office, this apartment was perfect for 2 weeks stay whilst my house was being renovated. I booked very last minute and the Ivy Lettings team were extremely accommodating and helpful. Thank you!

David Fishburn

Liked the service, liked the rather unique apartment, liked the garden - all very good! I would stay here again, yes, but maybe in the summer so as to enjoy the garden more. It felt nice to wander around the very plush neighbourhood and see all the local sights (as well as London at large!)

James L. Terrence

Liked my stay here. I liked the apartment. I imagine some would not like having all the personal books and nic-nacs around, but it really appealed, felt like a home not very 'sterile' like a hotel, which I guess is the whole point. Some really nice stuff. Also outside the apartment, it's a lovely area, very good for walks around and coffee breaks (my favourite!). I would stay here again and want to thank the team for all their help!

Laura G.

Tank you so much IVY! will stay here again and make sure to recommend to friends and family.

Karen X.

We found the house to be very comfortable for our family. We particularly enjoyed the lovely garden!

Linda Bell

We wished to have stayed longer at this lovely house. The kitchen had everything that we needed and we really enjoyed the local pub, the Sands End.

Lucia Vincent

Ivy Lettings helped us out at the last minute by finding us this property. We could not have asked for a more convenient location. My wife and I enjoyed jogging round Hyde Park every morning and managed to get tickets to the "Proms" in the Royal Albert Hall. We are returning to London next year and really hope to book this flat!!!

Conor Russell

My parents and I enjoyed so much our stay at Elvaston Place. We used it as a base to explore London and always enjoyed coming back to the comfortable apartmente at night. Merci beaucoup Ivy Lettings! - La Famille Gautier

Laure Gautier

A very comfortable apartment (flat). The pictures don't lie. Tastefully furnished, warm, inviting, secure and very clean. Surprisingly quiet street, considering it's perfect location. The bedroom was a little small but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We stayed six nights. We never used the Tube at all. We walked everywhere. The people at Ivy Letting were most courteous and helpful, above and beyond what was necessary.

Scott Crummell, Newfoundland, Canada.

Superb flat with everything needed. We had a wonderful time here. Thank you

Dirk Bruns, Pretoria

I agree that Ivy Lettings were a great help, very friendly and quick to respond. That made our stay very easy and the flat itself was just what we needed. We will choose this one again when we return.

Charlie Rivers, Dublin

My daughter lives near Battersea park so it was a good place to stay. Not the most beautiful but a very good price and I will return soon

Andre, Barcelona

This was the first time we had been in London. The flat was in good shape and we had a great stay. Georgina at Ivy Lettings was very helpful and made sure we settled in straight away. We were given a folder showing us all about the flat and even about where to eat nearby! We will return

Susan Mead, Edinburgh

We stayed here for a week and thought the place was great. It's moments from Baker Street tube which was convenient as I could get anywhere in London within an hour. The fully furnished kitchen had all we needed, despite this, we found ourselves choosing from the wide selection of restaurants and cafes, Gino's breakfast bar by Marylebone station was our particular favourite. Although we did not spend much time in the flat when we did it catered for all our needs (internet connection, freeveiw tv and DVD player) This modern flat will be top of my list when my travels bring me to London again.

Cora

This was a really great flat with lots of character. It is in a very convienient place which meant we were able to get around very easily. Our highlight was that we were on the same street as a mega Wholefoods shop. So good! loved our vacation to London and we look forward to returning again with Ivy's help

Rochelle, Washington

Excellent flat. It was in very good condition when we arrived and cleaned well. I liked this flat as it reminded me of home, it was highly welcoming and warm. We didn't spend much time there but it was the perfect base to return to at the end of a hard day of touristing!

Matt Northrop, California

We had a great time here. It was walking distance from the round house which was perfect as we saw a few live bands. Camden was such a fun place and we loved exploring! The flat was everything and more from what we were hoping for.

Glyn Jones

A super flat. Very nice to live in and my wife and I felt very at home. It was in an interesting part of london that we had never seen before so it turned out to be a bonus. Georgina at Ivy lettings was very informative and entertained us with her flamboyant donkey impression on arrival. A must see! But on a serious note - thank you everyone at ivy for all your kind and very quick responses. We certainly will be back sometime soon.

Martin, Bournemouth

A very smart and elegant flat that had everything we needed. It was in a very accessible area and the company was very helpful. We will return hoping to experience the same again please!

Henri, York

This flat was great fun, I would recommend it happily. It had fantastic views of the city. The nice thing is that this flat is so close to the river, we all enjoyed a walk almost everryday. There is lots to find around the flat too.

Carlos, Madrid

This flat is really very nice, it had everything we need and more. Very comfortable and it had a balcony and a very modern kitchen. Thank you for organizing this for us. The only complaint I have is that we were missing a lightbulb next to the TV, but a minor issue and one that will take nothing away from our stay.

Andy, Edinburgh

This is a superb flat. It was just in such an accessible point in London and everything was available around us. It had all the modern appliances and although we didn't even spend much time there. It was a simple but stylish flat that was very new and was just what we needed. Next time we will be using Ivy lettings again but might head further up the river and explore somewhere different.

Hannah, Long Island.

This is a flat that is a lot of fun, lots of character and fun things. It was in a quiet part of london which was good as we have a young child. It was still very easy to get into the centre of london on the subway. We will hopefully return too!

Luke, Utah

What a fabulous flat! well done everyone at Ivy for getting it ready for us. We had a lovely short stay and I am so glad we got to share in the delight of this charming place! We had a tremendous stay and look forward to returning next year. Thanks!

Trinny, York

A very neat flat. Simple but well presented with everything we needed. It acted as a great base to see London from. In a very quiet and safe area. We will return

Brad, New York

This was a good flat. It wasn't very big but it was all we needed. We are an elderly couple and it was very good to be based outside the centre of London. We didn't want to be caught up in all the chaos! There was a problem with the hot water while we were there but it was fixed straight away by the agency. Thank you for looking after us.

Margeret, Somerset

First of all I would like to emphasise how IvyLettings - thanks to its skilful and expertise organisation - made my staying in London an easy and comfortable experience. I have spent almost one week at Cheniston Gardens together with my wife and my daughter aged 7 and I dare to say it’s a perfect accommodation for a family like mine. The apartment is located in a quiet and nice area few minutes distance from Kensington High Street Tube station. We found the property utterly in order and since the beginning we were able to find whatever needed to start living our holiday from the very beginning. The flat is perfectly equipped and you can take advantage of the wi-fi connection or enjoy your preferred programs on the generous TV screen. No need to mention kitchen where nothing you could need is missed. Your shopping is made easy by several supermarkets at walk distance ( WholeFood, Tesco, M&S etc etc). Check-in and check-out procedures are the easiest possible thus no hassle of inflexible check-out time or long time-wasting inspections before the leave. Again a massive thanks to IvyLettings which can be granted to have a found a new, faithful and constant customer.

Mr Ruberti

Had a lovely stay at this property. On a charming mews, with all the desired amenities. Really close to tube lines and Hyde Park. My partner and I enjoyed all the walking we did, and the property was very very spacious for two. Ivy Lettings provided excellent service.

Donna

A simply wonderful stay, very cute apartment right next to Hyde Park. Lovely place with lots of decorative elements (like the raised bed!) Very well lit as well, made us feel quite summery even though it was deepest winter during our trip. Would I stay here again? Definitely! Notting Hill as an area was lovely, and it really made our stay being so central. Thanks Ivy!

Derek

VERY NICE stay with my family, right next to hyde park. great service from ivy team, we had a small issue and they came to fix it at once. thanks again! i would stay here again, maybe next time w. my daughter also as it coudl take four easily i think.

We stayed at Portobello Road and loved our quiet apartment just moments from the market. The apartment had a new feel to it and was very comfortable, almost as if we were at home. The mirror in the hallway was certainly entertaining! Recommended for sure.

This was a great stay for us, thanks to the lovely apartment and short distance to Portobello Market which is fantastic. Although its not too close to central London attractions, the transport was great and we managed to see everything we wanted. Thanks to Ivy for a great stay

The flat was well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. It definitely suited us for our 5 night stay. Being on the road of Portobello market was fantastic and we often just ate at the food stalls in the market.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It may not be modern but it has a lovely traditional charm to it and it as easy to get around London from here. Thanks to Ivy for all their help

This is a lovely apartment with a nice feel to it. Its well equipped and located and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Fully reccommended

This apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I on our short trip to London and we found the facilities available in the apartment more than adequate. It was a short walk to the local amenities and we were happy with Ivy Lettings throughout our stay. Thankyou

Everything was exactly as promised and even when we had a glitch with the kettle, Ivy Lettings were on hand to help us out. Location was ideal for us, tucked away quietly but not too far from everything we could need.

Our family of 5 were well accommodated in this lovely house. Its spacious and very accommodating in terms of facilities. Its far enough out of the centre of London to be quiet but is still well connected by bus links and the nearby train stations. Would definitely stay again

The house was exceptionally comfortable and plenty spacious enough for our family on our trip to London. We enjoyed how guest friendly the house was and it definitely was an improvement on hotels which we have used previously! It was easy enough to get around, with Clapham Junction fairly close by and there was a number of nice restaurants and shops in the local area. Will certainly be using again.

A great house, with all the mod cons and well located for us. Ivy Lettings were extremely helpful throughout our booking and we will be looking to stay at another Ivy property in the future.

We stayed here for 5 days in the new year and we were pleased with everything, from the service at Ivy Lettings to the apartment itself. It is extremely well located, within easy access to West End which made our visit to the theatre all the more enjoyable. The apartment is well furnished and not nearly as noisy as we thought, given its location. Recommended if you're looking for somewhere central with easy access to the sights of London

Perfect for our family holiday, the apartment was immaculate and perfectly located for all the tourist sites and our boys really enjoyed their first trip to London. Emma from Ivy Lettings made us feel so welcome and we are so glad she suggested this lovely family home to us.

Perfect for our family holiday, the apartment was immaculate and perfectly located for all the tourist sites and our boys really enjoyed their first trip to London. Emma from Ivy Lettings made us feel so welcome and we are so glad she suggested this lovely family home to us.

Everything was as expected....the charming home offered everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. Location was excellent...a 5 minutes to the tube and bus links. All the paper work and check in was a breeze. We arrived after hours but the instructions were very detailed. Also the posted price for the unit does not include the VAT that is added in your final quote.

Stayed here recently with my mother for six days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The charming house is not only clean, quaint, and affordable, but is also located in an excellent area. It's within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, cafes, museums, and shopping. The Earls Court Station was nearby, too. It was an excellent stay, made even better by the helpful team at Ivy Lettings. Would recommend to any and everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay in this lovely and cosy house near Earls Court. I stayed for an exhibition I was attending at Earls Court and it was very convenient The house is decorated to a high standard and is extremely charming and comfortable. The location is ideal for the amenities of Knightsbridge and South Kensington, with Hyde Park and Royal albert Hall also close by.

I loved this flat. Being located above The Abingdon, I thought it might be a little noisy but it wasn't at all. The pub itself is actually really nice and the food was excellent. The flat was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Top marks and we hope to stay again on our return later this year

I really enjoyed the decor in the apartment and found the place very comfortable. It has been looked after to a high standard and its location was absolutely perfect for us, with Hyde Park and Kensington within a short walk. The large kitchen was great as we chose to eat in a few nights and we also sampled the food at the pub downstairs which was delicious. Many Thanks to Ivy for their great service and we will look to stay again in the future.

This was a nice base for my family on our recent trip to London. The flat is obviously well looked after and beautifully decorated, which made it a pleasure to stay in. This was our second stay with Ivy Lettings and it's been fantastic both times.

First of all, the staff at Ivy Lettings was always quick to respond to any inquiry and very keen to help. Because we arrived on a weekend, key retrieval had to be arranged via lockbox, and they were very careful and helpful to ensure that everything went without a hitch. The price was wholly reasonable for a small one-bedroom apartment with a newly redone kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom was rather big. The kitchen was smallish, but it had a washer/dryer which was invaluable given that we were traveling with kids, and helped us to minimize what we needed to pack. The flat is on the top floor, accessible via lift. The building is quiet, and the bedroom faces the back of the building - the kids were on the hideaway sofabed and got the brunt of the traffic noise - but they didn't complain. After a full day of sightseeing, we were exhausted each night. The flat is convenient to several major bus lines to central London and Notting Hill Gate, and is an easy walk to the Earl's Court and Kensington High Street tube lines. The neighborhood is very residential, so you can stock up your fridge with goodies from the immediate vicinity. I would definitely do this again, especially with the kids. It was like being a local and we loved it.

BuffaloPundit

The perfect flat for our London trip with our family of four, located in a quiet alley in the Kensington area. Beautifully decorated in a quintessential British style and stocked with the comforts of home, including a clothes washer/dryer. The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to eat in for a few meals, using provisions from the large grocery store a short walk away. We also enjoyed unwinding at the end of the day in the comfortable living room. The apartment is in a prime location, within walking distance to Kensington Palace and Gardens, the Victoria & Albert and other museums, and the Gloucester Road tube station, and many good restaurants (we particularly liked Med Kitchen and Noorjahan). The rental agency Ivy Lettings was very easy to work with and facilitated our after hours arrival. We enthusiastically recommend Cornwall Mews South and would love to have a chance to stay there again.

Kara and Steve

The apartment at 17 airlie Gardens is cozy, quiet and comfortable. We were two adults and two kids and loved the perfect central neighborhood. The flat is w/in walking distance of Holland Park Road, Portabello Road and Kensington High Street. There are tons of great restaurants, pubs and shopping nearby and its a few minutes walk to the Notting Hill Gate tube station. The folks at Ivy Lettings were extremely accommodating and helpful.

L.A. Family of Four

The experience with Ivy Lettings was great from start to finish. The staff was responsive and helpful with each contact and, though we were not able to secure our first choice, we still got a first class place. As far as location, it may be enough to say that we could see the top of Parliament and hear Big Bend chime at night. The apartment was very close to Victoria station and St. James underground and along a bus route that could deposit us at Waterloo in 10 minutes. There were pubs, restaurants, bakeries, groceries, banks and post offices very close by to allow every need to be met with a short walk. The apartment itself was good size with had two nice bedrooms, two good size baths (each with tub and shower) and a sizable living/dining area. Lots of natural light and clean with an elevator to make handling luggage easier. The apartment was on a fairly quiet street. You could definitely hear activity going on outside, but we were never really bothered by any noise - certainly not after 9pm and before 8am. All in all, it was an absolutely wonderful apartment for our vacation.

Stephen

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hollywood Road flat. Two spacious bedrooms, great bathroom, nice kitchen and spacious living room. The entire unit was decorated with great care and taste. Very close to several really good restaurants, (Brinkley's is across the street and one of the best in London - very good value). 15 minute walk to Earl's Court Tube Station and 2 minute walk to bus stop on Fulham Road which takes you into either Kensington/Knightsbrige or Trafalgar Square, both highly sought after locations for shopping, dining and touring. We would definitely go back. The location is not in arkansas, USa but London, England, and Chelsea is a great location.

Michael

We rented the apartment for 1 week with 4 adults and 2 children. The service from Ivy Letting was excellent and professional. We enjoyed the location. It is a nice and quiet break from busy London. The apartment is fairly close to subway station...10 mins walk to Holland Park and 7 mins to Ladbroke Grove. It's pretty easy to get to central London. The apartment is quite large by London standard. It is nice to have 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It was very clean and tidy when we checked it. Overall, we are very happy about our stay and will rent from ivy letting again.
