Holland Park is quiet, even on a Saturday afternoon when every man and his dog is out in London.

Despite its relatively small size (in comparison to the more famous Hyde Park or Richmond Park) Holland Park still boasts many draws – including a playing field, ecology centre, and even opera performances in the summer!

The peaceful Kyoto Garden is a delightful pocket of Japan in the park. The garden was opened in 1991 as a gift from Kyoto to commemorate the long friendship between Japan and Great Britain. Sure to have a restorative effect on your spirit. Free to visit.
