- Places To Eat, Visiting London
Summer is almost here – and there are plenty of things to do in London over the next few upcoming months!
If you’ve booked your London vacation for this June, well, you are sure in for a treat – and a delicious one at that!
London is more than excited to welcome a month-long celebration of the one thing that brings everyone together the most – food!
The London Food Month festival will run from 1st – 30th June, and will see a programme of special collaborations and unique experiences – creating over 400 must-see, eat and drink events across the city over the entire month.
From high-end dinners to free community events, London Food Month is set to have have something for everyone.
Here is our guide to London Food Month’s best featured food events, guaranteed to tickle the fancy of all types of taste buds!
Carnaby Street Eat, Soho: 2 June
Weekend shopping on Oxford Street – as exciting and fun as it can be, the experience can also be very tiring and overwhelming at the same time! Well, we’ve found the perfect place for you to refuel, get energized, while experiencing some of London’s most amazing food during your shopping break.
On Saturday June 2, just a few streets away in Soho, over 30 of Carnaby Street’s best restaurants, cafés and bars will be setting up on the street for an epic food fiesta!
Caraby Street is located in the heart of London's West End, just two-minutes away from Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. The bustling street is famous for its incredible restaurants, cafés & shops.
The street fest will be an opportunity to sample some incredible food without the amount of time and money it would take to dine in each individual eatery (although wouldn’t that be nice!)
Some of the vendors will include: Cinnamon Soho, Pizza Pilgrims, Dirty Bones, The Detox Kitchen, and more.
So head on down on 2 June for some delicious fun in the heart of the city! It’ll be “soho” great, and entry is free!

Night Markets, Kensington: 7 – 18 June
This year will introduce the very first annual London Food Month Night Market – and we, along with the rest of London, are very excited about it!
The two-week Night Market will be the centerpiece of London Food Month, and will kick-start the beginning of Summer celebrations as it will set up as an outdoors event in the beautiful area of Kensington, in the Kensington Palace Gardens.
The Night Market will bring up to 50 stalls from London’s favourite chefs, restaurants and most-loved street food vendors, together to showcase some of the most diverse food one could possibly imagine to find in one garden!
Furthermore, there will also be an incredible outdoor cinema screening the ultimate line-up of blockbusters (cinema tickets cost extra) – some films to be screened will include: Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, Back to The Future, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Toy Story 2, plus more.
The Night Markets really will be the perfect London family vacation event! We can’t wait!
