On entering the house you will be greeted by a perfectly appointed and traditionally styled living area. Following on from the living room is the large open plan kitchen/dining area which benefits from light flooding in through the multiple sky lights and French doors. Equipped with all necessary conveniences. The dining space is a great area to bring everyone together, seating up to eight guests. A conservatory is fitted with snug armchairs and a large television to make the perfect cosy alternative to the larger sitting room. A garden and patio area, planted with shrubs and mature English roses, ensures an ideal extension to family living if the weather is pleasant during your stay. There is an additional dining area on the patio, which seats up to eight guests.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
With three separate bedrooms, there are plenty of options to sleep up to six in the utmost comfort. On the second floor, the master bedroom boasts a comfortable 6ft king bed as well as plenty of storage space. With its own ensuite this generous bedroom space provides privacy and luxury in equal measure. There is a large family bathroom on this floor and with its twin sinks and large bath and shower area. The third floor offers a bright and airy bedroom with very comfortable twin singles - perfect for friends or children in your party. There is plenty of wardrobe space waiting to be filled up with all your new purchases from the King's Road! On this floor there is another bedroom with a double bed (4.5ft wide) and its own washbasin.
Access & Suitability
This family vacation rental is set over three floors, with two flights of stairs. The ground floor is home to the living room, open plan kitchen/dining area and conservatory, which leads out to your private paved garden. A flight of stairs will lead you to the first floor, where you will find the master bedroom with ensuite and additional family bathroom. On the second floor you will find one double bedroom and a bedroom housing twin singles.
On Your Doorstep
The newly regenerated Imperial Wharf, with its cafes, beautiful riverside gardens and restaurants, is a serene spot on the quiet end of The River Thames, moments from Chelsea Harbour. You are a ten minute walk from the closest underground station, which allows quick, direct links to the rest of the city via the district line. Various grocery stores, coffee shops, an ATM and a multitude of restaurants are available in the immediate vicinity along the Wandsworth Bridge Road. Both the 28 and 295 buses will take you to Fulham Broadway tube station, and can also take you along the famous New King's Road, to High Street Kensington, and to Notting Hill gate so you really have your choice of travel!
Foodies are in for a treat, with The White Horse, an iconic London dining and drinking spot, within strolling distance. It has become famous for its BBQs, sunny beer garden, warm interior and welcoming, urban crowd. Mao Tai, an upmarket bar and restaurant serving delicious South East Asian cuisine, is also one not to be missed. The King’s Road, famed for its designer shops and classy bars, like Bluebird, is a very short bus ride away. A local favourite is Vicino - a welcoming, upmarket Italian serving wonderfully fresh dishes paired with the perfect wine.
