★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted a true getaway, that included our "own" space in which to relax, and this Belgrave Road garden flat was perfect for us. Lots of space for 2 people who are more than a little spoiled, and would have easily accommodated 4 comfortably. Perfectly outfitted with a neutral palette (very soothing), full kitchen WITH a combination washer and dryer (helpful when I got chocolate from a Peggy Porschen cupcake on my trousers!) and 2 full bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there was even a large selection of pillows from which to choose the proper firmness. The small outside patio/garden area allowed us to enjoy morning coffee and tea in the sunshine, and was the biggest factor in our choice of a flat. We had wanted an outside area where we could have a morning cigarette without polluting the apartment, and the charming wooden patio off the main bedroom suited us perfectly. Cleaning service was available, but the apartment was spotless when we arrived, and there were supplies there (including a vacuum) for us to keep it up comfortably. A very short walk down the street brought us to "our local", a pub named The Gallery, which had the BEST fish and chips we found in London, and a delightful ambiance. Very strongly recommended. The Pimlico tube station was only a couple of minutes stroll away, enabling us easily to get all over the city without the hassles of London traffic. The flat itself is on a medium busy street, with great noise insulation, so no traffic or outside conversations disturbed us. The managing agency, Ivy Lettings, was very responsive to questions, and very helpful in the renting process. We were met by Chris, a delightful Aussie gentleman, who patiently answered all of our (jet-lagged) questions and showed us everything. No need to call them with complaints or concerns during our stay, although from our pre-rental interaction with them, I believe they would have been right on top of any problems. We have to travel to London several times a year on business, and this flat is our new pied a terre. The Internet had a strong signal, which enabled me to keep up with emails, and I could have a meeting in the living room or around the dining table as needed. About the same price as a luxury hotel, but with privacy and amenities that made it a haven for us.

The back garden was lovely, though a bit messy. I imagine the weather was nicer than expected this early in April, so they probably didn't imagine anyone would be spending time out there. About a 15 minute walk from the tube. Several nice pubs nearby (The Constitution was our favorite). Wifi didn't seem to reach the bedroom. World's smallest tv. I would stay here again.

The flat is warm and welcoming after a long's day's sight-seeing. The flat is on a very smart, safe street midway between Pimlico and Victoria Street station which makes it very accessible for all the major sights in the city. There is also a bus which stops on the street almost outside the door. It is within walking distance of the river, from where we were able to view the fireworks on New Year's Eve over the Eye. The flat is spotless and has been completely modernised with two beautiful bathrooms with plenty of hot water. There is a dishwasher and washing machine and excellent wifi (a necessity when travelling with teenagers.) We rented through Ivy Lettings, who were thoroughly professional and organized our taxis to and from the airport etc. We were sad to leave Belgrave road, especially our son, who would quite happily have moved in permanently.

We easily fit in the spacious bedrooms, living room and two bathrooms, all of which were beautifully decorated and very well kept. The internet, kitchen, and barbecue facilities were particularly good. Access to the tube via Victoria or Pimlico stations was easy, and there were plenty of restaurants in the area which were helpfully recommended by Ivy Lettings. We would stay here again and again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

As we were flying in from Australia quite early on a Sunday morning we were lucky enough to be able to go into the apartment early which was great. We also took full advantage of using the transfer from Heathrow. We stayed in the Belgrave Road apartment for 5 nights and it was exactly as in the pictures. It was below ground apartment but had a small area off the main bedroom with a BBQ and chairs. It had light coming in from the back and also a large window at the front. Didn't feel dark and was quite cosy. I would recommend it for a stay in London. Only 5 minutes from Pimlico Station if that and not far walk from a supermarket or liquor stores. We had it for the Chelsea Flower show which was about a 12minute walk away. If you enjoy walking we were only a few minutes from the river and heading to the left we walked to Westminster abbey within about 15 minutes. Great location for most areas. Restaurants and pubs nearby within walking distance. We washed clothes and as it was overcast and raining outside they had an electrically heated dryer available which was fantastic! The most comfortable beds with beautiful down quilt and pillows which made us feel like we were floating.. two bathrooms... central heating - perfect visit A+++

Kate arranged for us to arrive early which was much appreciated after a long flight from Australia. The apartment was even more gorgeous than the photos suggested. The location was amazing, we could walk to Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace & Pilmico Station was very close. The information provided in the apartment was excellent and the free wifi was great. Our only minor complaints were that it was very easy to hear the guests upstairs who did not party but it could be a problem & a couple of different bedding options ie; a blanket as well as the doona would have been appreciated as the donnas were very warm (which I loved) but my husband found too hot. Having said that these are minor things compared with how wonderful the apartment was.
