Description
Within minutes of the Thames, on the oldest street in London - the bustling Bermondsey Street -  set right in the heart of the City and within easy walking distance of the iconic Tower of London. This beautifully converted warehouse apartment has been put together with the finest attention to detail, offering guests a home from home. The nearest underground station, London Bridge, is a 10 minute walk away. 

Living & Eating
The open-plan kitchen and living area is characterised by exposed brick walls, modern artworks and smart wooden and steel fittings. The kitchen is newly fitted and provides a spacious and sociable spot in which to whip up culinary delights. The dining table to seat four is flooded with light and the living space offers two large sofas and an armchair to sink into. Sky TV is available, providing ample entertainment for a quiet night in. A small terrace will prove an al fresco delight on a warm day. 

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
This bedroom is the epitome of minimalist sophistication. This bright and airy space offers a king size (5ft wide) bed. The separate bathroom is next door to the bedroom, offering a walk-in shower, bath and plenty of space. There is also a wash basin and WC. A further guest can be accommodated on a deluxe inflatable double bed (4.5ft) if required.

This property is located on the 1st floor. There are two steps within the apartment, which is split level.

On Your Doorstep
Although set right in the heart of the city, the Bermondsey area of London enjoys a village feel and sense of community very much independent from the bustling and whirling metropolis of which it is part. You'll find a set of tennis courts a short walk away, which is ideal for those who enjoy a sporting summer. A hub of activity, eateries, pubs and wine bars - Jose Pizarro's restaurants and Casse Croute to name just a few - we can't recommend Bermondsey Street enough.

Art and fashion lovers will be inspired by the White Cube GalleryThe Norman Ackroyd Studios and Zandra Rhodes's Fashion Museum, all moments from your door. And don't forget to check out the Bermondsey Street Festival if you're visiting in September! Bermondsey Antiques Market, open every Friday, is a 5 minute walk away in Bermondsey Square. It is an absolute treat to explore, with knowledgeable traders selling everything from elegant furniture and beautiful jewellery to curious artworks and cutlery.

The apartment is very well equipped and very clean. The location is excellent being so close to London Bridge station and there are lots of restaurants in close proximity. I hadn't picked up that there was no elevator but Evita was a great help helping us with our suitcases and showing us around. The hosts communicated very well and we would certainly stay there again.

This apartment was perfect for our needs and every step of the way the people we spoke to and met from the management company were polite and accommodating. It was cleaned to a very high standard. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped, the living space roomy and the bed comfortable. Probably one of the best located apartments in South London. We were able to extend our stay by one night and wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

For… Read more We enjoyed Bermondsey Warehouse very much. It’s our kind of neighbourhood. I’m not going to write about Bermondsey charms as I don’t want it to become swamped with tourists! For now it is a very dynamic village, with a large population of youthful corporate, IT and creative individuals mixed in to a traditional demographic. Very pleasant. It reminds of of the Left Bank Paris, Rue St. Dominic & Rue Claire. Both places where residents live, fabulous landmarks; yet sans the glamour of the label names, W8 etc. The walk along the Thames – well I have thousands of photos. We would recommend for the excellent services and this lovely rental choice of Ivy Lettings.
