Welcome to this beautifully refurbished Chelsea family home, thoughtfully redesigned to an exceptional standard and perfectly positioned for enjoying one of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods. Spacious, stylish, and arranged over three floors, this much-loved home offers a wonderful balance of comfort and contemporary living.

Entered at street level, the home immediately welcomes you into a bright and elegant sitting room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To the rear, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area provide a sociable space for family meals and entertaining, with doors opening onto a small private patio garden. On the second floor, an additional private decked roof terrace with table and chairs offers another peaceful outdoor retreat, perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening.

The home accommodates guests across three well-appointed bedrooms. The principal bedroom, located on the second floor, features a UK super king-sized bed (6ft wide), generous storage, and is served by an adjacent bathroom with a bath. On the first floor, there are two further bedrooms — one with a UK king-sized bed (5ft wide) and the second with a UK double bed (4.5ft wide). A family bathroom sits between these rooms and includes a large shower, washbasin, and WC.

The house is arranged over three floors with a central staircase connecting each level.

Situated in the heart of Chelsea, the home is ideally located for enjoying the boutiques, cafés, and restaurants of the King’s Road and surrounding streets. Sloane Square, South Kensington, and beautiful garden squares are all within easy reach, while excellent transport links make exploring the rest of London effortless.

Please note that the Underground runs to the rear of the property. The home is well insulated for sound and has hosted many happy guests over the years, though it may not be best suited to those particularly sensitive to noise.

Tucked away on a small residential cul-du-sac road just behind the famous Walton Street, Michelin building and a mere five minutes' walk from the heart of the Kings Road, you are spoiled for excellent restaurants, boutique shopping and a world of culture within easy reach of this beautiful corner of South Kensington. The Natural History & Science Museums and V&A are very close by, and with South Kensington tube station just up the road, the West End (via the Piccadilly Line) and Houses of Parliament (via the District Line) are within very easy reach.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teen agers that prefer their own beds - so this property was perfect. Amenities that were great: hot water, coffee pot for morning coffee, washer and dryer, living area was very comfortable, location was amazing. We walked to Kings Rd and Harrods. Breakfast options were fantastic and were within walking distance. We walked to the Tube everyday, perfect for an American family looking to sight see.

We just returned from our stay at the lovely Donne Place. Everything about this place is 5 star. The location is excellent! Located on a quiet street only a ten minute walk to Kings Road/Sloan Square. It’s located right around the corner from our favorite Italian restaurant called Daphne’s.

This is the first place that I have stayed in London where the actual rooms are larger than they look in the pictures. The entire home is tastefully and comfortably furnished. Great art work on the walls. Comfortable mattresses , nice cotton sheets and warm comforters.
The kitchen has everything you could need. We cooked Christmas dinner and had every tool needed. The appliances are all top of the line. The washer and dryer came in very handy for our 10 day trip.
This is the second time I have rented through Ivy and I will never go back to AIRBNB. The Ivy team is responsive and there to help. They are professional and friendly. They seem to be very selective as to the properties they represent. This assures me that the places will be nice. I have full confidence and look forward to booking with them in the summer.

The perfect family trip home! My wife and 2 kids spent the week in London, and this house was the PERFECT homebase for our adventures throughout the city. Our itinerary took us to Wembley, Hyde Park, Mayfar, Marlyebone, West End, Buckingham, the London Eye, and this home was perfectly located (< .4mi to South Kensington Tube and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood... perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the city). There's great shopping and dining (sit-down + grab-and-go coffee, etc) nearby, and friendly neighbors (a safe, welcoming area). I would HIGHLY recommend this home!

Out of 5, I give a 5! Everything was easy and comfortable. Excellent job of providing detailed yet simple instructions for opening the home and taking care of it during the stay. The home itself was very comfortable, well appointed, and represented the quintessential English feel. The location was ideal, easy to get to the tube and west London. We do VRBOs for privacy and independence, the team delivered both well - being both attentive yet not over-bearing. Checkout was easy and simple. Will highly recommend and will likely return!

5 of 5! Donne Place is a well appointed gem in a great area. We loved the close proximity to boutique shops, great restaurants and historic pubs, and being able to walk to Harrods, the Royal Alberta & Victoria museum, Kensington Gardens and Palace and Sloane Square with the Saatchi Gallery. The layout, furnishings and amenities of Donne Place are ideal for relaxing after a long day. A previous reviewer warned about the noise from the Tube, but we were not bothered by the soft regular sound of train wheels on rails coming from beneath the house.

I highly recommend Donne Place and would gladly return.

Convenient location for all the central London sights, easy walking distance to V&A and the Science Museum. Restaurants and shops all around for all your needs. The house is comfortable and generously stocked for easy meals at home. Appreciated the many small touches that made our home from home a win. 10/10 would rent again.
