“We love staying in Eagle Wharf; everything is so easy. The location is just a few minutes from Tower Bridge, with easily enough restaurants and shops nearby to feed and water you for the duration of your stay, the flat is clean with everything you need (including the much welcome dishwasher and washing machine), and the key pick up is pretty straightforward. It’s an old building and the windows are not particularly soundproofed, but this is generally not an issue at this quiet spot, except briefly for the occasional small group walking along the cobbles at the end of an evening. We’ve stayed before and will look to again - it’s our default ‘look for’ when we have a trip to London.”

This is a wonderful place to stay in London. It was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and safe. I loved watching London walk by from the balcony...families on outing, people going to and from work, and even two bobbies on horseback! We weren't as good with the transportation as most..it was easily available, but being 65 and 70 years old, we took more taxis than we needed to and saved our energy for sight-seeing. There is a Sainsbury grocery store very close with a large selection of ready-made meals and lovely produce. I also recommend Butler's Wharf Chop House just across Shad Thames. You can't miss the wonderful aromas from their cooking, and they have the &*best* mac & cheese I've had, anywhere, anytime. Ivy Letting was very helpful at every stage. We arrived on Easter Sunday and were given easy directions to a lock box to pick up the key. Unfortunately, the box had been removed by construction or vandals. Our cabbie called Ivy Lettings and a representative met us at the flat...even on a holiday. Thank you. They were always available and helpful. Be sure and read the folder...lots of useful information and the cab service, Addison Lee, they recommend is a blessing.
