Description
Welcome to Falcon Grove, the epitome of exquisite taste, and the last word in opulent chic. Being such a large property this is perfect rental for family gatherings, or groups looking to explore London from a peaceful location. As you cross the threshold, the first thing that will strike you is the impeccable and eclectic taste with which this spacious apartment is brought together.  Set on a quiet road, it enjoys the luxury of proximity to Falcon Park as well as Battersea Park.  Staying here you are in the heart of the action: a hop over the river from Sloane Square, and twenty minutes from Harrods.

LIVING & EATING
A beautiful large wooden table lines one wall, seating eight comfortably, above which rises the mezzanine.  You will count no fewer than five sofas. Large windows and a skylight above the mezzanine means that this apartment is always flooded with light. On the mezzanine itself, you will spot a gramophone player, along with more sofas and gym equipment. There are two terraces that lead out from the mezzanine first floor - quite a luxury in London. The kitchen and dining area is a delight: spacious, light and comprehensively fitted. Clean-cut wooden floorboards and candid white units are a joy to the eye, whilst a very generous oven complex will make cooking here a dream. A wooden dining table seats six happily.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Comfort and good taste characterise the bedrooms and bathrooms at Falcon Grove. On the ground level, find a double bedroom, brightened by a generous window next to the bed. On the same floor, you will find a gem of a study. There is a double futon here that can accommodate a couple comfortably. You will find two bathrooms on this floor: one with a bath tub, the other with a shower stall. Up on the first floor, you'll find the luxurious master bedroom, a vision in brilliant white washed walls, floor to ceiling windows, and wooden floors overlaid with carpets. Furnished with a king sized bed (5ft wide), it boasts a light, airy and spacious en-suite, complete with a free standing bath, twin washbasins and a WC

ACCESS & LAYOUT
Stretching over two floors, the first floor of the property houses the large open plan living and dining space, kitchen, pantry and one double bedroom, study with double futon, one bathroom and access to outside space.  A flight of stairs will take you to the second floor; the mezzanine acts as a second living space, complete with gym equipment. On this level you will also find the master bedroom and en-suite, and another terrace.

ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Despite enjoying a pleasant location on a quiet street, there are many local convenience stores in the vicinity of this lovely house. Many buses stop nearby that will take you all around London, and the West End is a mere thirty minutes, door to door. If you are feeling slightly more energetic walking along the river in either direction is a refreshing way to explore London. Don’t forget Battersea Park is literally on your doorstep. With its secret alcoves, lakes, fountains, waterside walkways and intriguing Peace Pagoda it is truly ripe for a day of exploration. There is a boating lake, a small children’s zoo and an enchanting old English garden. Look out for local markets and exhibitions that take place throughout the year. Dining out is tempting with an abundance of local eateries to choose from. Try the Prince Albert for a Gastro pub with a good atmosphere and park side location. Remember to glance up to greet the rooftop cows that happily graze on the roof. Alternatively head to the Lost Angel for some delicious cocktails. Albert Bridge is gorgeous at night, so take a stroll over to Chelsea and admire the view of London lit up. A quick 15 minute walk from thence will take you to Sloane Square and the King’s Road where fashionable boutiques, cafés and bistros await. Venturing on a little further you come to South Kensington; make sure you take the opportunity to peruse the fabulous collections and sights afforded by the Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum, and Natural History Museum.

This luxurious vacation rental will be perfect for families coming over to enjoy a stay in London.

This house is unique and rare style in London. It's a historical building and gorgeous decoration. We really enjoyed while we stayed there. The area is convenient to use bus and train. And there are many restaurants and shops at Northcote Road and St. John's hill. Thanks!

My wife was in love with the antique Persian rugs - pity we couldn't take on back with us! In all seriousness, this is a a home that won't let you down and it was a real pleasure to stay here.

It was like a venetian palace and we couldn't believe we had it to ourselves (my wife and I and two other couples) for the week. Not in the very centre of town but only 1 stop from waterloo which worked fine for our trips to the Southbank and to East London on the Northern line from Waterloo. An exceptionally good value property. We'd also like to mention the service: Alice looked after us from the beginning of our rental search throughout the time we stayed in London. Would definitely recommend Ivy Lettings and the team.
