Set on a quiet, residential street, moments from the King’s Road and Sloane Square, this idyllic one-bedroom London vacation rental is in one of London’s most prestigious postcodes. With restaurants, artisan cafes and a wealth of shopping on your doorstep, you may never want to leave Chelsea! This holiday apartment exudes class, thanks to its interior designer owner's fine eye for detail and sense of space. Decorated in soft greys, blues and whites, with high quality furnishings, there is a sense of calm and sophistication throughout. Plus, the expansive Battersea Park is just a short stroll away on the otherside of the river - ideal for those in need of a spot of tranquility after the bustle of the city. 

LIVING & EATING
As you walk through the front door, you are met by a bright living room, with a fabulously comfortable double-seated sofa and bookshelves either side of the fireplace. Two beautifully upholstered arm chairs sit opposite, offering guests the perfect setting for relaxing in after a busy day. The separate modern kitchen, with glass dining table for four, leads out to a private courtyard bordered with well-kept evergreens. Decked out with outdoor table and chairs (in summer), it is the ideal place to sit in the sun at the end of a long day of sightseeing. 

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
One bedroom with an inviting super king size bed (6ft wide), double mirrors and the added bonus of air-conditioning - perfect for those warm summer nights. The en-suite bathroom comes with walk-in shower, basin, heated-towel rail and toilet.

ACCESS & SUITABILITY
This vacation rental is located on the lower ground floor, with a few steps leading down to the front door. The apartment itself is all on one level. 

ON YOUR DOORSTEP
The area’s main thoroughfare is the King’s Road, a delightful mix of chain stores and high-end boutiques. The area is home to the impressive exhibitions at the Saatchi Gallery, the horticultural displays of the Chelsea Physics Garden and the splendour of Sir Christopher Wren’s Royal Hospital, which plays annual host to the Chelsea Flower Show. You have a feast of activities on your doorstep including a host of London’s top museums, shops, galleries and eateries. London Science Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural history Museum are just a twenty-minute stroll away. South Kensington and Sloane Square are also close by with their charming boutiques, high-class fashion houses and stunning architectural streets.

Don’t forget Battersea Park is within striking distance. With its secret alcoves, lakes, fountains, waterside walkways and intriguing Peace Pagoda it is truly ripe for a day of exploration. There is a boating lake, a small children’s zoo and an enchanting old English garden. Look out for local markets and exhibitions that take place in here throughout the year. Why not hire some skates or bikes and weave your way through its many cycle paths?

You can walk from your home all the way down the river to the magnificent Tower of London, if you do make it on foot it is quite an achievement so why not celebrate by indulging en route at the sensational Borough food market.

Garden flat - spacious, perfect for a couple, decorated with good taste too. You cannot beat the location - 2 minute walk to Kings Road right by Waitrose and M&S, 5 minutes to the tube. We used the small quiet garden at the back most days as it was hot. The bedroom has a/c, which was noisier that it should have been but did keep it cool in the heatwave. My only gripe was the skylight in the bedroom had no curtain - so we were woken up pretty early. Once that is sorted it will be the perfect pied a terre.

We are in the process of re-booking for a stay in December.

The apartment was the perfect size for 2 people. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect. Air conditioning (if necessary), WiFi and a true American king-sized bed were very important to us and King’s Road 3 had it all. Meticulously maintained and beautiful inside and out, this flat is in a safe and quiet neighborhood but only two blocks from the King’s Road where shops, restaurants (three of the best in London) and food emporia abound. The closest Tube station, Sloane Square, is a mile away (a 15-minute walk). The owners left us a comprehensive folder with instructions for appliances in the flat and tips on things to do, and how to do them, in the area. This was truly a home-away-from- home and we would gladly stay here again. Ivy Lettings, the agency arranging the rental, were a joy to work with. We could not recommend this flat more highly!
