Description

A former artist's studio in a gated private close just off Fulham Road, this two-bedroom South Kensington apartment is arranged around a double-height main room, with glazing set into the roof and tall steel-framed windows.

The building entrance is at street level; from the apartment's front door, at the end of a ground-floor corridor, two flights of internal stairs rise to the main room, where sitting, cooking and dining share one generous space. A sofa and armchairs gather around a period fireplace; the kitchen is built around a central island with open shelving, a dishwasher and a boiling-water tap; and a long timber dining table runs beneath the windows, with room to host a proper dinner. Underfloor heating keeps the room comfortable through the colder months.

The principal bedroom, with a super king-sized bed (6 ft / 180 cm wide), leads off the open-plan living area. It is screened by a partition that stops short of the ceiling rather than closing off completely, so it is not fully private. A separate shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC also opens off the living space. A steel spiral staircase with a handrail climbs to the mezzanine, where two single beds (3 ft / 90 cm wide each) sit at floor level beside a desk; this space is best suited to children or young adults.

Set back from the main road, the close itself is quiet and residential, and parking within the gated close can be provided by prior arrangement.

Tony,
The place was lovely and we had a good stay . It is well situated for shopping and for us was an excellent location because our daughter was in the royal marsden hospital which is literally opposite.
Jan,
Beautiful apartment, close to subway, very nice area (peaceful) and still in zone 1. Very responsive host and arranging if possible
Mary,
Place was as described, very convenient location. Kitchen was well stocked.
Nick,
I had a fantastic short stay at 7up. The location is unbeatable - just a few minutes’ walk from South Kensington Station, which made getting around London incredibly easy and convenient. Whether you're heading to the West End or exploring museums everything is within easy reach.

The flat itself was beautifully maintained and very well equipped, with all the essentials and thoughtful touches that made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. It felt cozy and very homely, perfect for relaxing after a day out in the city.
South Kensington is a brilliant area to explore, with great museums, charming cafes and restaurants, and lovely streets all around. This flat is a great base for discovering London, especially if you're only in town for a few days. I’d highly recommend 7up – it is stylish, practical, and perfectly located.

Tom,
This is honestly one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed in London. The location couldn’t be better, in the heart of South Kensington, with all the shops, cafés, and restaurants literally on your doorstep. The apartment itself feels like a New York loft, huge open spaces, beautiful skylights, and a really stylish, industrial vibe that’s quite rare in south-west London. There’s a big dining table that’s perfect for entertaining (I actually hosted a small dinner party there), and the building itself has great character and history. Would definitely recommend staying here, it’s got that perfect mix of comfort, design, and unbeatable location. Really cool spot!
Amy,
I had a great stay. The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants, bars and cafés nearby. It’s also a short five-minute walk from South Kensington Station, which made getting around super easy.

The flat itself is gorgeous , beautifully designed, spotless, modern, and really comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the city.

Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, convenient, and homey place to stay in London.
