Winchester Street Pimlico

Loved this flat! A quiet neighborhood, but a quick walk to everywhere - shopping, restaurants, train/tube station. The flat was clean, warm, and cozy. We didn’t cook, so the small kitchen was perfectly adequate for breakfast, etc. The bathrooms were great. Very good water pressure and lots of hot water! Dining table was perfect for laptops and working area. Overall, the flat was great!! Thanks!

Winchester Street was a delightful place for our 5 night stay over Christmas. The apartment is as described and was very clean. The two bathrooms were particularly good including a large deep bath which was perfect after a long day of walking. Pimlico is fairly easy walking distance to all major attractions or the apartment is a 5-10 minute easy walk to Victoria station.

Excellent location. Strong points: bathrooms, primary bedroom, kitchen. Quiet building. Note to older guests: beds and baths on lower level.

We stayed at Guy’s place for 8 days in Sept 2023 (four adults). Kudos to Guy and the property managers for quickly addressing an early issue with the flat, their concern and fast response set the tone for the entire week. The flat is large, comfortable and exactly as pictured. Kitchen is well equipped, and the bed (at least in the master) was very comfortable. Both bathrooms are large and modern, with plenty of hot water and great pressure (charge your razor of use the hair dryer elsewhere, as there is no electric in either). Relaxing in the living room after a full day of London activities was a welcome end to each day. And lastly we were there during a rare UK heat wave, and the indoor temperatures reflected that (very warm!). But otherwise, the location is unbeatable, with both Victoria Station or Sloan Square a short walk away. Easy access to the entire city. I would definitely consider booking this apartment again next time we visit

A wonderful flat for our family’s vacation to London. Very clean and cozy without being too small. Good space for our family of four (with two teenage daughters) to spread out. The updated bathrooms and kitchen were ideal. We loved the location—10 min walk to Victoria Station, 20 min to Buckingham Palace, etc. The neighborhood cafes were wonderful too! We were very happy to find this flat!!

The flat was everything we could have asked for. It was just perfect for our family's stay in London. The hosts were communicative and the flat was well appointed. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, so nice to have a fully stocked kitchen so we did not have to eat out every meal. Furniture and decor a little outdated, but very clean!

This was a wonderful location. Very short walk to Victoria station. The apartment was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There were a number of markets and restaurants nearby. We are a family of 4 and easily had enough space. The backyard patio was a total bonus. The only hiccup we had was during check-in. The keys have to be obtained from a nearby shop which would have been no big deal but we were given an incomplete set of keys. By the time we realized it our cab was gone and we had to walk back to the shop for a second set. That being said, the staff were very responsive and did their best to help us navigate the situation. Everything was smooth sailing from there.

This was our second time renting the Winchester Street property and our third time renting with Ivy. We really like the location. It's close to restaurants, pubs, shopping, and transit, yet on a quiet street. Having the bedrooms on the bottom floor means no sounds from upstairs at night. The price was reasonable and the communication with the Ivy team was excellent. We look forward to our next visit to London and we will surely rent from Ivy again.

This is a fabulous property! The location is ideal being in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a 10 minute walk to Victoria underground station. After a couple of days we figured out we can take the C10 bus to Victoria from the stop only 1 block away. And we walked to Buckingham in 20 minutes for Changing of the Guard. We stayed here with our 2 children which was perfect with a master bedroom and the second bedroom with 2 beds. And both bathrooms were nice, although the master bath is a little tight and the lighting is challenging. The kitchen is stocked with enough items to make meals (a nice full grocery is only a 5 minute walk and there are plenty of bags in the flat to use for carrying your purchases). The combined washer/dryer was great as it allowed us to pack a lot less clothing. We had good weather (not too hot), but there is no aircon, so it was a bit warm. But we knew that when we booked and the fans provided in the 2 bedrooms helped a bit. The nights were cool, but with no screens on the windows we were a bit worried to sleep with them open. The private patio looked pretty in the pictures, but in reality it was difficult to use as the birds were quite busy making a mess. I cleaned the table intending to use it for dinner, but within 15 minutes it was dirty again. I might suggest the owners invest in an umbrella for the table. The property management was absolutely terrific! Very professional and accommodating. Since our flight arrived early they were able to accommodate us dropping our bags so we could enjoy London on day 1 and return later when the cleaning was complete. All in all, this flat was exactly as advertised and was a great place for our family. Highly recommended!

It was a perfect stay. Due to late arrival we had to change from a personal welcome to a key collection from a locker. But the reservation desk helped us immediately. The appartment was clean and very well furnished. It was very calm esp. at night and we enjoyed the short walk to Victoria Station.

Great vacation lodging company! I have used a number of lodging companies for travel arrangements in the past, and Ivy is by far the best. The company has a good list of quality properties, and everyone at Ivy is responsive and considerate. I recommend the company highly.

Quiet neighborhood and very short walk to the underground. We are a family of four and we really enjoyed our time at this wonderful flat. Just a short distance from major attractions of central London, and the flat was just perfect for us

The rental was as it appeared in the photos--no surprises. Michaela met us at the exact time and showed us the unit. Very clean and we loved staying there! Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked.

We found this apartment to be a great base for our trip. We liked having a short metro journey to the typical sights, but we also walked around to a lot of places and saw way more of London that way. The outside space was a great addition, although in better weather we would've used it more. There's a grocery store a little walk away, and restaurants and cafes etc all around, especially by Victoria station. We went to Pimlico Fresh for breakfast a few times, so would recommend going there if you can. 

We had a great time - very convenient location for travelling around, and we liked having the outside space. Thanks for having us!

I've stayed in a few different Ivy Lettings properties over the past few years. Each one was exactly as described/pictured. The few times I have needed to contact the office, I've received quick, helpful replies. One time we arrived late in the evening, and the team provided clear instructions on how to retrieve the flat keys from a nearby locker. I'd much rather stay at an Ivy Lettings property than go through a service that matches you with an individual property owner--I like that there's a dedicated team/company to provide coordination and confidence in the level of service. Highly recommended.

We found Ivy Lettings online while searching for London Christmas rentals. We corresponded mostly via email and had outstanding customer service. The unit was lovely and exactly as depicted. Ivy lettings accommodated our request for an early holiday arrival and had the keys ready in a lockbox off site from the rental. We just had the driver pull up. My daughter quickly got the keys and we arrived at the unit at 97 Winchester moments later. Thank you!!

Nice place, worth the money

Lovely space. Very spacious, and comfortable. The staircase leading down to the bedrooms is a bit steep, but not horribly so. Great location! Can walk to the tube station (Victoria) and several restaurants and stores.

Our stay was handled in a most professional way, from start to finish, by the Ivy staff. Our flat was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, well furnished and comfortable. This was our fourth booking with Ivy and we will no doubt use Ivy for our next trip to London.

We recently booked a beautiful Georgian style apartment through Ivy lettings in London for a week. All communication was done very professionally. The quality of the property and the check in process was also excellent. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to rent short term in London.
