The upper floor accommodates the two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a UK double bed (4.5ft wide) and the master bedroom with a UK king-sized bed (5ft wide). These are serviced by a well-appointed family bathroom with a shower over the bath. A petite paved outdoor area offers a delightful retreat for those warm summer months.
Stanford Road is located just south of Kensington High Street. It's in a smart, secluded residential area known for its elegant stuccoed frontages, excellent restaurants and gorgeous cobblestone streets, such as the insta-favourite Kynance Mews. I marked off a half-point for the towels - although the bath sheets were wonderfully large, I would have expected a higher hotel quality and some washcloths

This spot was a 5-minute walk to HSK tube and nicely tucked back from the busy High Street. Just across from Builder’s Arms pub and quick walk to Montparnasse Cafe—both favorites. Our family lived in this neighborhood previously and I loved coming back to a spot that felt like “home”. The clothes washer & dryer were super helpful to have on-site. Stunning light from the many windows made me happy to look up and out. The bedding, pillows, and mattresses were very comfortable and gave us excellent sleeps. AC in the BRs also ideal for the couple warmer nights we had so we could sleep comfortably. Plenty of hangers and drawers in generous closets. We left the big suitcase downstairs and just transferred items to the closets rather than drag the suitcase up. Kids managed fine to take their carry-on size upstairs. The only amenity missing that I would have liked to have was coffee pods and more teaspoons would be helpful. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was amply suited with necessities.
