New Website, New Brand

After almost 9 years, we’ve undergone our first rebrand. We’ve dropped the “Lettings”, so we’re now trading as just “Ivy”. We’ve enjoyed our time as Ivy Lettings, but it’s time for a change. We don’t mind if you still call us by our maiden name (Ivy Lettings is still our company name, and website address, so you wouldn’t be wrong) and it’ll probably take us a little while to get used to it ourselves… We decided to change for two reasons really. Firstly, because “Lettings” implies a different kind of business to who we are and what we do. We aren’t a traditional high street agent dealing with long term “lettings”, so the term was a little misleading. Secondly, we’ve come to be known by our clients as “Ivy” anyway, so we thought we’d go with it...

Accompanying this name change is a brand new logo, designed by the same brilliant agency who came up with our first one in 2009, and a shiny new website, designing and building which has taken four busy months and a lot of hard design and coding work, and conversations about moving this button 3 pixels to the left and that icon to the right so it aligns with the box above it. So what’s different? Well, to start with, it’s much faster. It uses the same operating system but a much newer version of it, and it’s been completely recoded so it can serve larger images much more quickly. Most importantly, guests and hosts alike will (hopefully!) find it much easier to use on mobile devices than before. This was our top priority in building the new site - in fact, we designed the mobile version first. We hope you like it. As ever, we welcome your feedback.
